September 23, 2024 – Declaration Prayer: Resist the Love of Money

Based on the dream I had this morning—reminding me not to covet unrighteous wealth—and the reflection on related scriptures, I initially planned to pray at the Singapore Exchange (SGX). However, on the way, one of the roads was blocked, so I took an alternative route. This route passed by a casino, and I felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit, realizing that this prayer and scripture declaration should be made at the casino, not at SGX. The time I entered into prayer and declaration was 5:24.

23/9/24 – 1 Timothy: “Do Not Covet Money”

1 Timothy 6:9 – “Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.”
1 Timothy 6:10 – “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

Dear Heavenly Father, we confess that we are often tempted by worldly wealth. We ask You to grant us pure hearts and help us not to stray from the truth. May You guide us to avoid the traps of greed, relying on Your grace for peace. Let us pursue the treasures of the Kingdom of Heaven, not the vanity of this world. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Having lost all sensitivity(524), they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.(Ephesians 4:19 NIV)

The influence of greed: it causes us to lose our conscience, turn away from the Lord, and break our relationship with Him.

2024年9月23日 宣告祷告：远离贪财之心

根据今晨梦境的提醒——不要贪恋不义之财——以及相关经文的灵修，本来我打算去新加坡证券交易所（SGX）祷告。但在途中，某条路被封，我于是改道。改道的路线正好经过赌场，我感到圣灵的带领，意识到这次祷告和经文宣告应该是在赌场，而非SGX。计入祷告和宣告的时间是5:24。

23/9/24 提摩太前书《不要贪财》

【提前6:9】但那些想要发财的人，就陷在迷惑、落在网罗和许多无知有害的私欲里，叫人沉在败坏和灭亡中。
【提前6:10】贪财是万恶之根。有人贪恋钱财，就被引诱离了真道，用许多愁苦把自己刺透了。

亲爱的天父，我们承认时常被世俗的财富诱惑，求祢赐我们清洁的心，帮助我们不偏离真道。愿祢引导我们，远离贪财的陷阱，依靠祢的恩典得享平安。愿我们追求天国的财富，而不是世间的虚荣。奉主耶稣基督的名祷告，阿们。
