在一片广阔的国度里，国王正在寻找一批特别的战士——祷告勇士。这支军队不同于普通的军队，他们的武器不是刀剑，而是信心、恒心和对君王的忠诚。

一封召集令传遍全国：“国王正在寻找那些愿意全心委身、不畏艰难、昼夜守望的战士。唯有通过试炼者，方能成为国王麾下的祷告勇士！”

无数人怀揣热情和期待，踏上了前往王城的旅程。

第一关：耐心的考验

当候选人们抵达城门，他们被带到一座大殿中。面前只有一把椅子，墙上挂着一条指令：“请坐下，等待召唤。”

时间一点点过去，一些人开始不耐烦，嘟囔着：“这是什么意思？不是来打仗的吗？为什么要等？”有人受不了，干脆离开，选择了更轻松的道路。

直到夜幕降临，国王的使者终于走进大殿，对仍然留在原地的人点头道：“你们通过了第一关。真正的祷告勇士，需要能在等待中仍然信靠国王的时间。”

第二关：信心的考验

通过第一关的人被带到一座漆黑的森林，眼前只有一条看似模糊的道路。使者宣布：“你们要独自穿越这片森林，相信国王必指引你们。”

有些人看到前方的黑暗，开始犹豫：“万一迷路怎么办？”“万一有危险呢？”最终，有些人因害怕而放弃，转身回去了。

而那些迈出脚步的人，尽管看不见远方，却凭着信心一步步前行。途中，他们听见野兽的咆哮、感受到风雨的侵袭，但他们始终没有停下。最终，他们顺利走出了森林，看见国王的城堡就在前方。

使者再次出现，微笑着说：“真正的祷告勇士，在黑暗和未知中仍然信靠王的指引。”

第三关：委身的考验

最终剩下的人来到王宫，国王亲自迎接他们。国王的眼神深邃，声音温和却充满力量：“成为祷告勇士，不是一次性的选择，而是一生的委身。你们必须日夜警醒，不论顺境逆境，都要忠心守望。你们可愿意？”

有些人沉默了，他们开始意识到这意味着什么——这不仅仅是一场试炼，而是一生的托付。有人最终选择了离开，而留下来的，只有少数人。

国王欣慰地点头：“我的眼目遍察全地，我寻找的正是你们这样向我心存诚实的人。”

他举起手中的权杖，光芒洒在勇士们身上，他们的身影变得刚强，手中凭空出现了象征祷告能力的圣杖。从此，他们成为了国王最信赖的战士，在黑暗中点燃希望，在风暴中屹立不倒，为整个国度代求。

这节经文出现在《历代志下》16章，描述的是犹大王亚撒的晚年。

亚撒王在早年时曾倚靠神，带领犹大国战胜强敌，并经历复兴。但在他晚年的时候，当面对以色列王巴沙的威胁时，他选择依靠亚兰王，而不是转向神。神差遣先知哈拿尼责备他，告诉他：“耶和华的眼目遍察全地，要显大能帮助向他心存诚实的人。”

属灵提醒

这经文与故事提醒我们：
1. 神正在寻找真实委身的人——亚撒王起初倚靠神得胜，但晚年因失去信心而失败。今天，神仍然寻找那些愿意恒久信靠祂的人。
2. 祷告需要耐心——亚撒王等不及神的帮助，转而依靠世人；但真正的代祷者要学会在神的时间里坚持。
3. 信心在黑暗中被试炼——当环境看似没有希望，真正的信心才会显现。
4. 委身是一生的选择——祷告不仅是一时的热情，而是持续的摆上和忠心。

The Search for Prayer Warriors

In a vast and expansive kingdom, the king was searching for a special group of warriors—prayer warriors. Unlike ordinary soldiers, their weapons were not swords or spears, but faith, perseverance, and unwavering loyalty to the king.

A royal decree was sent across the land:
“The king is looking for those who are willing to fully commit, endure hardships, and stand watch day and night. Only those who pass the tests can become the king’s prayer warriors!”

Countless people, filled with passion and anticipation, embarked on the journey to the royal city.

The First Test: Patience

Upon arriving at the city gates, the candidates were led into a grand hall. In front of them was only a single chair, and on the wall hung an instruction:
“Sit and wait for the summons.”

Time passed slowly. Some people grew impatient and muttered, “What does this mean? Aren’t we here to fight? Why are we just sitting and waiting?” Some, unable to endure the wait, left in search of an easier path.

As night fell, the king’s messenger finally entered the hall and nodded to those who remained:
“You have passed the first test. A true prayer warrior must trust the king’s timing, even in the waiting.”

The Second Test: Faith

Those who passed the first test were taken to a dark forest, with only a faint, unclear path ahead. The messenger announced:
“You must walk through this forest alone, believing that the king will guide you.”

Some hesitated upon seeing the darkness. “What if I get lost?” “What if there is danger?” Fear overtook some, and they turned back.

But those who stepped forward, though unable to see far ahead, walked on in faith. Along the way, they heard the roars of wild beasts and felt the harsh wind and rain, yet they did not stop. Finally, they emerged from the forest and saw the king’s castle in the distance.

The messenger appeared again, smiling:
“A true prayer warrior continues to trust the king’s guidance, even in darkness and uncertainty.”

The Third Test: Commitment

The remaining candidates arrived at the palace, where the king welcomed them personally. His eyes were deep and his voice was gentle yet full of authority:
“Becoming a prayer warrior is not a one-time choice, but a lifelong commitment. You must remain vigilant day and night, staying faithful through both trials and triumphs. Are you willing?”

Some fell silent as they realized what this truly meant—it was not just a test but a lifelong calling. Some chose to leave, but only a few remained.

The king nodded with approval:
“My eyes search across the land, and I have found those who are truly devoted to me.”

He raised his scepter, and as its light shone upon them, the warriors became strong, and in their hands appeared sacred staffs, symbolizing the power of prayer. From that moment on, they became the king’s most trusted warriors—lighting hope in the darkness, standing firm in the storm, and interceding for the kingdom.

Scripture

“For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
—2 Chronicles 16:9 (NIV)

This verse appears in 2 Chronicles 16, recounting the later years of King Asa of Judah.

Earlier in his reign, Asa trusted in the Lord, leading Judah to victory and revival. However, in his later years, when faced with the threat of King Baasha of Israel, he chose to rely on the King of Aram instead of turning to God. The Lord sent the prophet Hanani to rebuke him, saying:
“The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

Spiritual Lessons

This passage and story remind us that:
1. God is looking for those who are truly committed – Asa initially trusted in God and experienced victory but failed when he lost faith. Even today, God seeks those who will fully trust in Him.
2. Prayer requires patience – Asa could not wait for God’s help and relied on human strength instead. A true intercessor must learn to wait on God’s timing.
3. Faith is tested in darkness – When circumstances seem hopeless, true faith is revealed.
4. Commitment is a lifelong decision – Prayer is not just a moment of passion but a continuous dedication and faithfulness.

Today, God is still looking for those who will become His prayer warriors and bear His power. Will you answer His call, stand in the gap, and be a watchman for His kingdom?
