叫我传福音给贫穷的人;

The Book of Destiny — The Calling from the Cross to the Empty Tomb

Date: 10 April 2025

  1. Vision: The Scroll in Christ’s Hand

During last night’s prayer meeting, I saw the Lord holding a scroll and opening it Himself. I asked in my heart, “Lord, what is written in this scroll?”
The Scripture that came to mind was Luke 4:18–20.
This was not just a Bible verse—it was a royal commission from Christ to His Church. He is inviting us to become heirs and executors of this promise.

  1. The Messianic Proclamation: Luke 4:18–20

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down.
The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him.

  1. The Three Holy Days: Fulfillment and Commissioning of the Mission

The proclamation Christ made in Nazareth reached its ultimate fulfillment during the Passion Week. From Golgotha to the empty tomb, the three days sketched the complete arc of the Kingdom’s mission.

Day One – Good Friday (April 18): The Mission Sealed in Blood
“He has sent me…”
The cross was not the end—it was the summit of the mission. When Christ declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30), He had:
• Paid the ransom for the spiritually poor
• Broken the chains of sin and death
• Sealed the New Covenant of Jubilee with His blood

Today’s Calling: Let us respond to His sending with our lives, taking up our cross and following Him (Luke 9:23).

Day Two – Silent Saturday (April 19): The Hidden Cultivation of Jubilee
“To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor”
In the silence outside the tomb, God was doing His deepest work:
• Like the Old Testament Jubilee, debts were cancelled and inheritance restored (Leviticus 25:10)
• Christ declared victory in the realm of the dead (1 Peter 3:19)
• The waiting disciples did not realize that new creation was already quietly forming

Today’s Practice: In the silence, trust deeply—God’s unseen work often prepares the most profound revival.

Day Three – Resurrection Sunday (April 20): The Scroll Eternally Unfolds
“All eyes were fixed on Him”
The empty tomb shattered the silence, and the scroll reached its ultimate fulfillment:
• Resurrection is not the end but the beginning of the sending (Matthew 28:19–20)
• The 21-day church prayer journey culminates here—not an end, but a launch
• The Church now becomes the walking, living proclaimer of Jubilee

Today’s Mission: We become the living scroll of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:3).

  1. Response Prayer

Living Lord,
Your broken body is our charter of freedom,
Your empty tomb is our banner of commissioning.
Teach us to hear the whisper of Jubilee on the Silent Day,
And receive the torch of the Spirit in resurrection light.
May Your Kingdom come through us,
As You once unrolled the scroll in Nazareth.
Amen.
