Blessed Are Those Who Consider the Poor

“Blessed is the one who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in the day of trouble.”

In God’s eyes, those who show compassion and help the poor are truly blessed. This is not merely an act of kindness, but a heartfelt response to God’s will. David reminds us that when we care for the weakness of others, God will not forget us—He will rescue us in our own time of trouble with grace and mercy.

Today, am I willing to lay down my busyness, extend a helping hand, and see those around me who are in need?
Compassion is a path that leads to blessing.
