“敌人如鹰”，表示审判来的速度之快，势不可挡。

就如今天，当属灵的警钟响起，我们是否仍沉睡？
当社会充满背离真理的声音，我们是否已经习以为常？

二、背约之声——神心的破碎

何西阿的整卷书，是一首神被背叛的哀歌。他用自己婚姻的破碎，来呈现神与祂百姓的关系：
• 神是丈夫，以色列是妻子。
• 妻子却去追求别神，忘记了立约之情。

神的警钟不是因为愤怒，而是因爱而警醒：“回来吧，我仍愿意医治你们的悖逆”（参何14:4）。

三、回应警钟——悔改与归回

何西阿书10:12也说：

“你们要为自己栽种公义，就能收割慈爱；开垦你们的荒地；现在正是寻求耶和华的时候。”

警钟响起，是要唤醒睡着的心，是神的怜悯尚未结束的证据。我们仍有机会悔改，归回祂的怀抱。

也许这“警钟”出现在你的家庭、国家、教会，或你自己的内心深处。不要忽略这属灵的铃声，它不是恐吓，而是爱在呼唤。

1. The Alarm Sounds—A Spiritual Warning Has Come

In Hosea 8:1, the prophet issues a clear alarm: “Put the trumpet to your lips!” This is an urgent warning, like the tolling of a warning bell. God commands His servant to blow the trumpet because His people have strayed from His heart.

The phrase “An eagle is over the house of the Lord” symbolizes the swiftness and unstoppable nature of the coming judgment.

Even today, when the spiritual alarm sounds—are we still asleep?
When the voices of truth are drowned out in society, have we become numb to the deviation?

2. The Voice of Betrayal—God’s Heart Broken

The book of Hosea is a lament of divine betrayal. The prophet uses the pain of his own broken marriage to portray God’s relationship with His people:
• God is the faithful husband; Israel is the wife.
• Yet the wife runs after other gods, forgetting the covenant of love.

God’s alarm is not blown out of anger, but out of love that longs to awaken:
“Return to Me, for I will heal your waywardness” (cf. Hosea 14:4).

3. Responding to the Alarm—Repentance and Return

Hosea 10:12 further exhorts:

“Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord…”

The sounding alarm is meant to awaken sleeping hearts—it is proof that God’s mercy is not yet finished. There is still time to repent and return to His embrace.

Conclusion: Will You Respond When the Alarm Sounds?

Perhaps the “alarm” is ringing in your family, your nation, your church, or deep within your own soul. Don’t ignore this spiritual bell. It is not a threat—it is love calling out.

“When you hear the bell, be alert.”
May we hear the Father’s voice in the alarm and turn back to Him.
