• 我们的悖逆无法取消神的计划;
• 你或许能逃过风浪,却逃不过神的怜悯;
• 关键不在你多有能力,而在你是否愿意顺服;
From the Dark Night of the Soul to Becoming God’s Blazing Flame
Date: May 23, 2025
Key Scripture:
“But on Mount Zion there will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his inheritance. The house of Jacob will be a fire, the house of Joseph a flame; the house of Esau will be stubble, and they will set it on fire and consume it. There will be no survivors from the house of Esau.”
(Obadiah 1:17–18, NIV/Contemporary Version)
- The Dark Night of the Soul—Have You Been in a Spiritual Abyss?
In this short yet intense prophetic book, God doesn’t hide His judgment, nor does He soften His words against betrayal.
Edom (the house of Esau) grew proud and opportunistic, while Israel (the house of Jacob) went through exile, humiliation, and brokenness.
Yet God did not forsake His people. He declares:
“But on Mount Zion there will be deliverance.”
The dark night is not the end—it is the starting place of the fire.
Spiritual Insight:
• The night is not a curse; it’s the furnace in which the flame is forged.
• While man may see you as ashes, God sees you as kindling for revival.
- From “Jacob” to “Joseph”—A Journey of Divine Ignition
• Jacob is the fire—a repentant soul refined by mercy.
• Joseph is the flame—a dreamer who endured the pit and prison to become a vessel for revival.
• Esau is stubble—rootless, careless, carnal, and ultimately consumed.
Spiritual Impact:
• God is not looking for the “successful”—He is searching for the flammable.
• Flame is born when repentance touches divine purpose.
- Mount Zion—The Place of Fire and Sending
“Mount Zion will be a refuge; it will be holy.”
This is not just a place to hide from judgment—it is the altar where the fire is lit and sent forth to burn away darkness and bring light to nations.
Spiritual Impact:
• Zion is not a shelter to stay in—it’s a launchpad of revival fire.
• The pain that once burned you is now the power that fuels your blaze.
- Will You Be the Flame of the Lord?
Maybe you’ve cried out. Maybe you’ve been broken, confused, or tried to walk away.
But today, the Lord says: “I’m not here to watch you perish—I’m here to set you ablaze.”
You are not called to smolder.
You are called to burn—for a generation to awaken, for darkness to flee, and for truth to be seen.
Conclusion: The Call to Blaze
• You are Jacob—the fire of repentance.
• You are Joseph—the flame of revival.
• You are not Esau—the stubble blown away by the wind.
You are God’s firebrand.
And the Lord says: “I am calling you to be a flame that burns through the night.”
Prayer Response:
“Lord, I no longer want to be one who cries in the darkness,
nor do I want to live as the stubble that burns without purpose.
I want to be Your fire, Your flame, Your vessel—
to burn sin, illuminate truth, and ignite revival.
Set me ablaze, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
