保罗称提摩太为“属神的人”，这是一个荣耀的身份。

• “逃避这些事”：指前文所提的贪婪、纷争、虚浮言语等属世诱惑。
• “追求”六种属灵美德：

　　2️⃣ 敬虔：存敬畏神的心，活在祂面前
　　3️⃣ 信心：相信神的带领与应许
　　4️⃣ 爱心：愿意为他人牺牲与成全
　　5️⃣ 忍耐：在困境中依然坚守
　　6️⃣ 温柔：在刚强中存怜悯之心

这不是消极避恶，而是积极追求属灵生命的真实成长。

⚔️ 三、为真道打那美好的仗

信仰从来不是逃避责任，而是奋力争战。
“美好的仗”不是与人争辩，而是：
• 坚持真理，不随波逐流
• 持守信仰，不向试探妥协
• 在黑暗中仍活出光明

这是属灵生命的呼召，也是忠心的表现。

🎯 四、持定永生：活出被召的见证

“持定永生”不仅是末世的盼望，更是现在要紧紧抓住的生命方向。

保罗提醒提摩太：
• 这是神对你生命的呼召，不是偶然的选择。
• 你已在众人面前作了见证，现在要继续活出这见证，直到见主的面。

“But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

✨ 1. A Man of God: Starting from Identity

Paul calls Timothy a “man of God”—a title of great honor.
It reminds him: you do not belong to the world, but to God.
Your direction and values in life should be set apart from the patterns of this world.

🏃‍♂️ 2. Flee and Pursue: A Twofold Discipline
• “Flee from all this” refers to the worldly temptations mentioned earlier—greed, disputes, empty talk, and corruption.
• “Pursue” six spiritual virtues:

　　1️⃣ Righteousness: Living with integrity and in accordance with God’s law
　　2️⃣ Godliness: Walking in reverence and devotion to God
　　3️⃣ Faith: Trusting in God’s leading and promises
　　4️⃣ Love: Willing to sacrifice for the good of others
　　5️⃣ Endurance: Remaining steadfast in trials
　　6️⃣ Gentleness: Carrying mercy even in strength

This is not just avoiding evil, but actively growing in spiritual maturity.

⚔️ 3. Fight the Good Fight of the Faith

Faith is not about retreating into comfort but stepping into spiritual battle.
The “good fight” is not about arguing with people, but:
• Standing firm in truth, without compromise
• Remaining faithful despite temptation
• Shining light even in darkness

This is the calling of the spiritual life, and a mark of true faithfulness.

🎯 4. Take Hold of Eternal Life: Living Out the Call

“Take hold of eternal life” is not just a future hope—it’s a present calling we must grasp tightly.

Paul reminds Timothy:
• This is God’s calling on your life—it is no accident.
• You’ve already made a good confession before many witnesses; now continue living out that witness until you see the Lord face to face.
