🥥 一碗Cendol中的神圣差派

📖 经文：提摩太后书 2:21

“人若自洁，脱离卑贱的事，就必作贵重的器皿，成为圣洁，合乎主用，预备行各样的善事。”

昨天中午，我在一间冷气Foodcourt吃午餐。面前是一碗冰冰凉凉的 cendol，正适合这酷热天气。

对面坐着一位七十多岁的Uncle，也在吃 cendol。他看我一眼，笑着说：“今天天气真热啊！”我点头回应，于是我们自然地聊了起来。

我心里想着，也许能借机分享福音，邀请他来教会。没想到他竟然也是一位基督徒。

他问我一些关于信仰的问题，我便尽我所知地回答。虽然只是在餐桌边短短几分钟的交流，却出奇地真诚、温暖、有深度。

快结束时，他忽然看着我说：

“我常常一个人来吃饭，有时候真的很孤单。今天，好像上帝派了一个天使来和我说话。”

那一刻，我心头一震。原来今天神不是要我“做什么大事”，
而是要我成为一个贵重的器皿——用一点时间、一份陪伴、一个回应，去温暖一颗孤单的心。

🧽 一、自洁——预备被用的心

神使用人的关键，从来不在于我们的能力，而在于我们的“愿意”与“洁净”。
愿意安静下来，听见祂的差遣；愿意放下匆忙，看见身边人的需要。

🏺 二、贵重器皿——最平凡也能最荣耀

那天，我不是在讲台上，也不是在服事场所，
只是一个拿着 cendol 的普通人，但神却用了我，
成了祂爱的通道、安慰的器皿。

也许“行各样的善事”不是去海外宣教，不是服事上千人，
而是坐下来听一个人的故事，让一个人知道：
你并不孤单，上帝记得你。

🥥 A Divine Assignment Through a Bowl of Cendol

📖 Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:21

“If anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.”

Yesterday afternoon, I was having lunch at an air-conditioned food court.
In front of me was a cold, refreshing bowl of cendol—perfect for the scorching weather.

Sitting across from me was an elderly uncle in his seventies, also enjoying cendol.
He glanced at me with a smile and said, “It’s really hot today, isn’t it?”
I nodded and replied, and just like that, a conversation began naturally.

In my heart, I thought: maybe this could be a chance to share the gospel and invite him to church.
To my surprise, he turned out to be a fellow believer.

He asked me some questions about the faith, and I did my best to answer based on what I knew.
It was just a short conversation over lunch, but it felt unusually sincere, warm, and deep.

As we were about to part ways, he suddenly looked at me and said:

“I often eat here alone. Sometimes it gets quite lonely. Today, it feels like God sent an angel to talk with me.”

That moment touched my heart deeply.
I realized—God didn’t need me to do something “big” that day.
He simply wanted me to be a vessel of honor—offering a bit of time, a moment of presence, a word of kindness to comfort a lonely heart.

🧽 1. Cleanse Yourself — A Heart Ready to Be Used

The key to being used by God is not our ability, but our willingness and purity.
Willing to slow down, hear His gentle promptings, and notice the needs around us.

🏺 2. A Vessel of Honor — Ordinary, Yet Glorious

That day, I wasn’t on a stage.
I wasn’t serving in a church setting.
I was just a regular person holding a bowl of cendol—
but God used me to become a channel of His love and comfort.

🛠️ 3. Useful to the Master — You Don’t Need to Wait for a “Big” Moment

Doing “every good work” may not mean going overseas, or preaching to thousands.
Sometimes, it’s just sitting down to hear someone’s story,
to let them know:
You’re not alone. God sees you.
