✅ 成功不是“被看见”,而是“被神悦纳”;

真正的自由,不是地理的自由,而是灵魂属神;

🕯️ 愿你走到哪里,神就用你在哪里;

🕊️ Struggle of Sojourners: Living as Pilgrims, With Hearts Set on Heaven

📅 Date: June 20, 2025
📖 Scripture: 1 Peter 2:11

  1. Our Identity: Sojourners, Not of This World

“Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles…”
(1 Peter 2:11a)

Peter reminds us: we are not permanent residents of this world—we belong to God’s kingdom.
In every transition, relocation, or farewell, our identity stays the same: we are pilgrims of heaven.

📍 Leaving a place is not the end—it’s the start of a new journey.
You are not “leaving,” you are being sent.

  1. Our Struggle: Abstain from Fleshly Desires

“…to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.”
(1 Peter 2:11b)

The spiritual life is a daily battleground.
This world pulls us toward compromise, confusion, and distorted views of success.

🔥 That’s why Peter urges us to stay alert—to say no to desires that blur our vision.
We are not shaped by the world—we are called to be set apart for God.

  1. Our Definition of Success: Not Achievement, but Faithfulness

In God’s eyes, success is not how high you rise, but how faithfully you walk in what He’s called you to do.

✅ Success is not “being noticed,” but “being approved by God.”
✅ It’s not “being without struggle,” but “standing firm in the battle.”

🌾 The success of a sojourner is to live out heavenly values in an earthly world.

  1. Our Direction: Hearts Set on Heaven

Wherever life takes you—never forget your true home.
True freedom isn’t about geography—it’s about a heart surrendered to God.
True success isn’t in climbing higher, but in staying true.

🕯️ May you go where God sends you,
And may your heart always return to Him.

🙏 Closing Prayer

Lord,
Thank You for guiding my steps and reminding me:
I am not of this world, but a sojourner, a servant of heaven.

Help me not to follow the cravings of my flesh,
Nor chase after fleeting success,
But to walk faithfully in the path You’ve set before me.

May I live each day with a heart set on heaven,
Until I see You face to face.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
