   百姓抱怨没有肉吃，怀念埃及的食物，却忘了神日日供应的吗哪。
   结果：神的烈火临到营中，提醒他们不可忘恩。
2. 情欲——放纵肉体，失去圣洁
   （民数记第25章）
   以色列人与摩押女子行淫，并随她们拜偶像。
   这一场罪恶，带来二万四千人的死亡，直到非尼哈为神发热心，神的怒气才止息。
3. 不信——拒绝应许，选择退后
   （民数记第13-14章）
   当探子报告迦南的巨人时，百姓恐惧、不信、发怨言，甚至想回埃及。
   神因此发誓，这一代人不得进入应许之地。

三、如何胜过旷野中的试探？

第一，常存感恩，不抱怨。
记得神过去的拯救与供应，不被眼前困难迷惑。

第二，持守圣洁，不妥协。
面对罪恶，像非尼哈一样，勇敢站出来为神发热心。

第三，坚持信心，不退后。
像约书亚、迦勒一样，相信神的应许，勇敢向前。

旷野路上，每一个决定，都在写下我们生命的故事。
是抱怨？是放纵？是惧怕？
还是感恩？圣洁？信心？

今天，神在呼唤我们：
做一个在试探中站立得住的人，走进祂为我们预备的应许之地。

1. Introduction: The Wilderness—Where Faith and Temptation Intersect

The Book of Numbers is more than just history; it is a spiritual mirror for our faith journey.
It records the choices of an entire generation:
Will they grumble or give thanks?
Will they compromise or pursue holiness?
Will they retreat in fear or move forward in faith?
These same questions still confront us today.

2. Three Major Spiritual Temptations: Israel’s Failures in the Wilderness

First: Complaining—Forgetting God’s Grace, Magnifying Problems
(Numbers Chapter 11)
The people complained about the lack of meat, longing for the food in Egypt, forgetting God’s daily provision of manna.
As a result, God’s fire came upon the camp, reminding them not to forget His grace.

Second: Lust—Indulging the Flesh, Losing Holiness
(Numbers Chapter 25)
The Israelites engaged in sexual immorality with the Moabite women and followed their idols.
This sin brought about the death of 24,000 people, until Phinehas stood up with zeal for God, and God’s anger was stopped.

Third: Unbelief—Rejecting God’s Promise, Choosing to Turn Back
(Numbers Chapters 13–14)
After hearing the spies’ report about the giants in Canaan, the people were filled with fear and unbelief.
They murmured, wished to return to Egypt, and refused to enter the Promised Land.
God declared that this generation would not enter the land He had promised.

3. How to Overcome Temptations in the Wilderness?

First, Stay Thankful—Do Not Complain.
Remember God’s past deliverance and provision.
Do not let present difficulties blind you to His grace.

Second, Maintain Holiness—Do Not Compromise.
When facing sin, be like Phinehas: stand up courageously and act in a way that pleases God.

Third, Hold On to Faith—Do Not Retreat.
Be like Joshua and Caleb. Believe in God’s promises and move forward with boldness.

4. Conclusion: What Will I Choose Today?

Every decision we make in the wilderness writes a chapter in our life story.
Will it be complaining? Indulgence? Fear?
Or will it be gratitude? Holiness? Faith?

Today, God is calling us:
Be one who stands firm in temptation, and step into the Promised Land that He has prepared for you.
