“大卫日见强盛，因为耶和华—万军之神与他同在。”• 大卫的强盛不是靠军事，而是因神的同在。 • 神的工作不只在王身上，更在王身边兴起了一群勇士。

🪖 当神要复兴一个时代，祂会兴起一群与祂同行、与祂争战的勇士。

二、勇士，是在危机中挺身而出的

📖 撒下 10:12

“你当刚强，我们要为本国的民和　神的城邑作大丈夫。愿耶和华凭祂的意旨而行。”• 面对亚扪与亚兰两面夹击，约押不是躲避，而是唤醒勇士精神。 • “作大丈夫”，原意就是“挺身而战的勇士”。

🔥 勇士不是等环境安全才回应，而是在最黑暗中站立不退。

三、勇士的忠心，是复兴的种子

📖 撒下 23:11–12（沙玛）

“众民逃跑，沙玛却站在田间击杀敌人；耶和华使以色列人大获全胜。”• 一块看似不起眼的豆田，沙玛却死守不退。 • 神不轻看这忠心的坚守，反而借此带来全地得胜。

🗡️ 属灵勇士，不计战场大小，只求忠于神所托。

四、勇士的生命，是为神献上的祭

三勇士冒死为大卫取水，大卫却倒在耶和华面前——因这是“用命换来的水”。

💧 这不是英雄主义，而是敬畏神、尊荣祂同在的敬拜。

🔥 真正的勇士，不是为自己争荣耀，而是为神献上生命。

1. The Rise of Warriors Is a Sign of God’s Presence

📖 2 Samuel 5:10
“David became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him.”
• David’s strength did not come from military might, but from God’s presence.
• God’s work was not only upon the king, but also in raising up a company of warriors around him.

🪖 When God desires to revive a generation, He raises up warriors who walk and battle with Him.

2. Warriors Rise Up in Times of Crisis

📖 2 Samuel 10:12
“Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in His sight.”
• Faced with the Ammonites and Arameans attacking from both sides, Joab did not retreat, but awakened the warrior spirit.
• “Fight bravely” literally means “rise up and battle as warriors.”

🔥 True warriors don’t wait for safety before responding—they stand firm in the darkest moments.

3. A Warrior’s Faithfulness Is the Seed of Revival

📖 2 Samuel 23:11–12 (Shammah)
“When the people fled, Shammah stood his ground in the field and struck down the Philistines; and the Lord brought about a great victory.”
• A seemingly insignificant lentil field was where Shammah stood and refused to retreat.
• God did not overlook his faithful stand—instead, He used it to bring national victory.

🗡️ Spiritual warriors don’t measure the size of the battlefield—they care only about being faithful to what God entrusted to them.

4. A Warrior’s Life Is an Offering to God

📖 2 Samuel 23:15–17
Three mighty warriors risked their lives to draw water for David, but he poured it out before the Lord—because it was “water gained at the cost of their lives.”

💧 This was not heroism for its own sake, but an act of worship—honoring the Lord and revering His presence.

🔥 True warriors don’t fight for personal glory—they offer their lives for the glory of God.

5. God Himself Remembers the Names of His Warriors

• A total of 37 warriors are listed; some with detailed stories, others with just their names.
• Some are mentioned only once, yet their names are engraved forever in Scripture.

📜 People may not know you—but God never forgets any faithful warrior who fights for Him.

🙏 Closing Prayer:

Lord, the warriors You raised up in 2 Samuel did not triumph by might, but by Your Spirit and presence.
Raise me up today as well—in my field, in my battle—to stand faithfully in the “lentil patch” You’ve entrusted to me.
Regardless of circumstances, I desire to be a vessel in Your hand, to fight for You and to offer my life to You.
