你要投靠在祂的翅膀底下;
9. 耶和华是我的避难所;
14. 神说:因为他专心爱我,我就要搭救他;
15. 他若求告我,我就应允他;
他在急难中,我要与他同在;

✨ A Prophetic Psalm 91 Journey

Today, September 1, the Holy Spirit led me to take Bus 91 — a seemingly simple action, yet it unfolded into a living metaphor of Psalm 91.

Even before reaching Buona Vista, the Lord was already speaking. As I left home, I saw a bus passing by with an advertisement from Income Insurance. It read:

“Income make yours 55 — 55 years of protection, 55 years of care.”

The number 55 deeply stirred me. In Scripture, the number 5 represents grace; when doubled, it means grace upon grace. This was not merely an ad, but God’s invitation:

“Come and take refuge under My shadow. My protection is not a contract, but an everlasting covenant; My care is not for 55 years, but for eternity.”

Just yesterday, during Sunday service, the message was on rest. Later, a friend texted me, sharing that she had watched two different worship services online, and both happened to speak about finding rest in God. Now, as I experienced this unfolding journey of Psalm 91, I knew God was confirming again: His protection is not only a shield, but an invitation to dwell in Him, rest, and trust in Him.

What is even more amazing is this — in Singapore, Bus 91 does not operate on Sundays. This itself became a prophetic reminder: even in the planning of transport routes, God is emphasizing the importance of rest. Just as He established the Sabbath, He calls us to stop striving, dwell in Him, and delight in His presence.

When I arrived at Buona Vista (“which means Good View”), I boarded the bus. The station was right next to The Star, where New Creation Church gathers — a place known for its message of grace, closely tied to the promises of Psalm 91.

While waiting, another ad caught my eye, from Soup Restaurant:

“Taste Good, Choose Good Souper Good.”

In that ordinary setting, I once again felt God’s gentle whisper — His goodness permeates even the smallest details of life.

The bus departed from Buona Vista (Good View) and headed toward one-north. This name itself carries prophetic meaning: “One” represents unity and alignment; “North” points to God’s dwelling place. My heart immediately recalled Psalm 48:2:

“Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth,

Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north,

The city of the great King.”

Here, beauty and dwelling come together — God invites us into His presence, reveals His splendor, covers us with His wings, and calls us to find rest in His shadow.

Finally, when I returned and got off again at Buona Vista, a banner greeted me with the words:

“I love the view from the bus.”

It felt like God’s response, confirming that this whole journey was His invitation.

Even more wondrous, as I was nearing home, I once again saw another bus carrying the same ad:

“55 years of protection, 55 years of care.”

What I saw at the beginning, I saw again at the end. It was as if God was saying:

“My grace surrounds you from the start to the finish. My protection is not only for the journey, but for your entire life.”

Thus, this simple bus ride became a prophetic Psalm 91 journey — surrounded from beginning to end with grace upon grace, marked by His goodness, and crowned with the beauty of His dwelling place.

✨ God invites us to “income” into His beautiful dwelling, to receive grace upon grace, protection upon protection, and true rest in Him.

📖 Psalm 91 (NKJV)

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler

And from the perilous pestilence.

4 He shall cover you with His feathers,

And under His wings you shall take refuge;

His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,

Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,

Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

And ten thousand at your right hand;

But it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you look,

And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you,

Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,

To keep you in all your ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear you up,

Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,

The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him,

And show him My salvation.”
