1. Drawing Near and Listening
• Come near to God, listen attentively, and you will receive life.
• True renewal of life comes from building a genuine relationship with Him.
2. The Assurance of the Everlasting Covenant
• God’s promise is not only the historical covenant with David, but it extends into the everlasting new covenant.
• This covenant is fully accomplished in Jesus Christ.
3. The Sure Mercies of David
• The promise of David’s throne points forward to the Messiah.
• God’s steadfast love (ḥesed) is unshakable and never fails.
