📖 但以理书 1:8–9

「但以理却立志，不以王的膳和王所饮的酒玷污自己，所以求太监长容他不玷污自己。神使但以理在太监长眼前蒙恩惠，受怜悯。」

🌙 梦的启示

在梦中，我看见一位名叫“蒙福的守护者”（Edmund）对但以理说：“让我们重新开始。”

这画面带出一个属灵的提醒：真正的开始，不在于外在的改变，而在于内心是否被神守护。

但以理在异乡仍蒙神恩宠，因为他立志守住自己的心，不被诱惑玷污。

正如《箴言》4:23所说：“你要保守你心，胜过保守一切，因为一生的果效是由心发出。”

真正的蒙福，是神赐给那些愿意守住心的人。

📌 引言

• 每个人都渴望“重新开始”的机会。

• 圣经提醒我们：真正的开始，不是换环境，而是更新内心。

• 但以理的生命见证揭示三个属灵关键：立志 → 圣洁 → 恩宠

1️⃣ 立志归向神：从心开始（v.8a）

• “但以理却立志”——他在心中设定方向，坚定不移地归向神。

• 即使身处巴比伦、诱惑环绕，他仍选择属神的道路。

• 真正的更新，不是外在重启，而是内心悔改与转回。

👉 比喻：园丁若只修剪枯叶，植物外表虽整齐，但若根已腐败，终将枯萎。生命的更新必须从根开始；同样，若心未更新，外在改变无法持久。

2️⃣ 守住圣洁：从分别开始（v.8b）

• “不以王的膳和酒玷污自己”——但以理选择分别为圣，不随波逐流。

• 王的膳与酒象征妥协与世俗诱惑，他却坚守属灵纯洁。

• 新生命必须建立在新的价值观上。

👉 应用：今天我们虽不面对“王的膳”，却常面对名利、享乐与妥协的试探。守住心，就是守住生命的根基。

3️⃣ 蒙神恩宠：从恩典开始（v.9）

• 当但以理立志并守住圣洁，神使他蒙恩惠、受怜悯。

• 真正的突破，不在于人脉或背景，而在于神的恩典。

• 在基督里，从心开始，神必为你开路，带你进入新的季节。

👉 比喻：约瑟在埃及守住圣洁，神使他在波提乏与法老面前蒙恩。

• 在基督里，立志归向神 → 是新开始的起点。

• 在基督里，守住内心圣洁 → 是生命的根基。

• 在基督里，蒙神恩宠 → 是突破与更新的关键。

📖 Daniel 1:8–9
“But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel.”

🌙 Dream Revelation

In a dream, I saw someone called “Blessed Guardian” (Edmund) say to Daniel:
“Let us begin again.”

This vision carries a spiritual reminder: a true beginning is not about external change but about whether the heart is kept by God.
Daniel found favor in a foreign land because he resolved to guard his heart and not be defiled by temptation.
As Proverbs 4:23 says:
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

True blessing is given by God to those who guard their hearts.

📌 Introduction
• Everyone longs for a chance to “start over.”
• Scripture reminds us: a true beginning is not about changing circumstances but renewing the heart.
• Daniel’s life reveals three spiritual keys: Resolution → Holiness → Favor.

1️⃣ Resolving to Follow God: Starting from the Heart (v.8a)
• “Daniel resolved” — he set direction in his heart, firmly choosing God.
• Even in Babylon, surrounded by temptations, he remained committed to God’s way.
• True renewal is not an external restart but inner repentance and turning back to God.

👉 Illustration: If a gardener only trims withered leaves, the plant may look tidy, but if the root is rotten, it will still wither. Renewal must begin at the root. Likewise, if the heart is not renewed, outward change will not last.

2️⃣ Guarding Holiness: Starting with Separation (v.8b)
• “Not to defile himself with the king’s food and wine” — Daniel chose to remain set apart.
• The king’s food and wine symbolized compromise and worldly allure, yet he upheld spiritual purity.
• A new life must be built on new values.

👉 Application: Today, we may not face the king’s food, but we face temptations of wealth, pleasure, and compromise. Guarding the heart is guarding the foundation of life.

3️⃣ Receiving God’s Favor: Starting with Grace (v.9)
• When Daniel resolved and upheld holiness, God granted him favor and compassion.
• True breakthrough does not depend on networks or background but on God’s grace.
• In Christ, when you start from the heart, God opens the way and leads you into a new season.

👉 Illustration: Joseph in Egypt guarded his purity, and God granted him favor before Potiphar and Pharaoh.

• In Christ, resolving to follow God → the starting point of a new beginning.
• In Christ, guarding inner holiness → the foundation of life.
• In Christ, receiving God’s favor → the key to breakthrough and renewal.
