The Book of Obadiah is the shortest book in the Old Testament, with only 21 verses. Its theme is the prophecy of Edom’s (Esau’s descendants) downfall and Israel’s restoration.
The last verse (1:21) is the climax of the book—the complete victory of God’s kingdom.
