1. 约拿的挣扎

• 他深知神的慈爱，却不愿尼尼微人得赦免。

• 人的心常有限，容易被民族、情绪、仇恨绑住。

2. 神的属性

• 有恩典 → 赐人不配得的好处。

• 有怜悯 → 免去人该得的惩罚。

• 不轻易发怒 → 神的忍耐超过人想象。

• 丰盛慈爱 → 祂乐意赦免，不愿一人沉沦。

3. 对我们的提醒

• 神的爱超越界限，怜悯临到“所有悔改的人”。

• 不要像约拿一样狭窄，而要像神一样宽广。

1. Jonah’s Struggle

• He knew God’s compassion but didn’t want Nineveh to be forgiven.

• The human heart is often narrow, bound by nationalism, emotions, and grudges.

2. God’s Character

• Gracious → Gives what we don’t deserve.

• Merciful → Spares us from the punishment we do deserve.

• Slow to anger → His patience is beyond human imagination.

• Abounding in love → He delights to forgive and does not want anyone to perish.

3. Our Reminder

• God’s love crosses boundaries; His mercy is for all who repent.

• We must not be narrow like Jonah, but wide in heart like God.
