经文

【林前3:12】若有人用金、银、宝石、草木、禾秸在这根基上建造，

【林前3:13】各人的工程必然显露，因为那日子要将它表明出来，有火发现，这火要试验各人的工程怎样。

【林前3:14】人在那根基上所建造的工程若存得住，他就要得赏赐；

【林前3:15】人的工程若被烧了，他就要受亏损，自己却要得救。虽然得救，乃像从火里经过的一样。

经文要义（很简短）

• 根基只有一个：基督。 我们其上的一切“建造”，终必被火检验。

• **结果两类：**能存留的得赏赐；被烧掉的受亏损，但人若在基督里仍要得救。

关键真理

1. 材料显动机：金银宝石=合真理与爱心、出于神；草木禾秸=图面子、迎合人。

2. 方法同样重要：不只是“做了什么”，更是“为何、如何做”。

3. 救恩与奖赏有别：救恩靠恩典；奖赏关乎忠心与质地。

• 对齐根基：开始前先祷告一句：“主啊，我为你而做。”

• 选择好材料：做事以真理＋爱为准绳（诚实、不夸口、不取巧）。

• 重视隐秘处：在无人看见处也忠心（守约、守时、守洁）。

反思

• 我今天最容易用“草木禾秸”的地方是什么？如何换成“金银宝石”？

• 若主今日来检验，我最想被保存的是哪一件“工程”？

简短祷告

主耶稣，你是我生命的根基。求你炼净我的动机，使我用真理与爱来建造；叫我所行能经得起你的火，得着从你而来的赏赐。阿们。

Work Revealed by Fire (1 Corinthians 3:12–15)

Scripture

[1 Cor 3:12] If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
[1 Cor 3:13] each one’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it is revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has.
[1 Cor 3:14] If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward;
[1 Cor 3:15] If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved—yet only as through fire.

Key idea (very brief)
• There is only one foundation: Christ. Everything built on it will be tested by fire.
• Two outcomes: what endures brings reward; what burns brings loss—yet the person in Christ is still saved.

Core truths
1. Materials reveal motives: gold/silver/gems = truth + love, Spirit-born; wood/hay/straw = vanity, people-pleasing.
2. Method matters: not only what we do, but why and how (motive and manner).
3. Salvation vs. reward: salvation is by grace; reward concerns faithfulness and quality.

Today’s application (3 small steps)
• Align the foundation: begin with a one-line prayer—“Lord, I do this for You.”
• Choose good materials: act by truth + love (be honest; no showboating; no cutting corners).
• Honor the secret place: be faithful where no one sees (keep promises, keep time, keep pure).

Reflection
• Where am I most likely to use “wood/hay/straw” today? How can I switch to “gold/silver/gems”?
• If the Lord tested my work today, which “project” would I most want to remain?

Short prayer

Lord Jesus, You are the foundation of my life. Purify my motives so I build with truth and love. Let what I do stand the test of Your fire, and grant me the reward that comes from You. Amen.
