📖 希伯来书 11:4

“亚伯因着信，献祭与神，比该隐所献的更美，因此便得了称义的见证，就是神指他礼物作的见证。他虽然死了，却因这信，仍旧说话。”

一、信心使献祭更美

亚伯与该隐，同样都是亚当的儿子，也都向神献上祭物。

但圣经清楚指出，使亚伯的祭更美的，不是他所献的“羊”比该隐的“地里出产”更贵重，

而是——他因着信献上。

信心让祭物从地上升到天上，

让奉献从形式成为敬拜。

亚伯以敬畏与感恩的心向神献祭，

该隐却以比较与自义的心行礼如仪。

神不看手中的多寡，

祂看心中的动机。

信心，是一切献祭中最美的香气。

二、神为信心作见证

经文说：“神指他礼物作的见证。”

这意味着神不仅悦纳亚伯的祭，

更悦纳亚伯这个人。

真正的信心会被神亲自印证。

信的人，不必高声辩解，

因为神自己会为他作见证。

那是从天而来的肯定，

让人知道：信心所献上的，

神都看见、记念、悦纳。

如今我们不再献上牛羊的血，

但当我们以信心祷告、以爱心服事、

以诚心奉献时，

那就是神眼中“更美的祭”。

三、信心虽死，仍旧说话

亚伯的生命被哥哥的嫉恨所截断，

然而，他的信心并未随血迹消失。

他虽然死了，却仍然在说话——

不是以声音，而是以见证；

不是在人前，而是在神面前。

信心的生命，是无法被杀死的。

它穿越时间，

仍然在呼唤这一代的人：

“用信心献上你的一切，

神看见你心中的火。”

🙏 祷告回应

主啊，

让我不为形式献上，

而是凭信心将自己献给你。

愿我的祷告、服事、奉献，

都发出信心的香气，

使你喜悦、使我得见证。

主啊，

愿我像亚伯一样，

即使在世人看来微小，

却因信被你记念，

让生命的声音，

永远在你面前回响。

✨ A Better Offering: Faith Still Speaks

📖 Hebrews 11:4

“By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.”

1. Faith Makes the Offering More Beautiful

Abel and Cain were both sons of Adam, and both brought offerings to God.
But Scripture clearly shows that what made Abel’s offering “better”
was not that his lamb was more precious than Cain’s produce from the ground—
it was that he offered it by faith.

Faith lifts an offering from earth to heaven,
turning ritual into true worship.
Abel gave with reverence and gratitude,
while Cain gave with comparison and self-righteousness.

God does not look at the amount in our hands,
but at the motive in our hearts.
Faith is the sweetest fragrance of every sacrifice.

2. God Bears Witness to Faith

Scripture says, “God testified concerning his gifts.”
This means that God not only accepted Abel’s offering,
but also accepted Abel himself.

True faith is confirmed by God’s own witness.
Those who live by faith do not need to argue or prove themselves—
for God Himself will testify on their behalf.
It is a heavenly affirmation that says:
everything offered in faith
is seen, remembered, and received by God.

Today, we no longer offer the blood of bulls and goats,
but when we pray with faith,
serve with love,
and give with sincerity,
it becomes, in God’s eyes,
a “better offering.”

3. Faith Still Speaks, Though Dead

Abel’s life was cut short by his brother’s jealousy,
yet his faith did not die with him.
He still speaks—
not with a voice, but with a testimony;
not before people, but before God.

The life of faith can never be silenced.
It passes through time,
still calling to this generation:
“Offer all that you have in faith;
God sees the fire in your heart.”

🙏 Prayer Response

Lord,
let me not offer out of form or habit,
but offer myself to You in faith.
May my prayers, my service, and my giving
release the fragrance of faith
that pleases You and brings testimony to my life.

Lord,
make me like Abel—
though small in the eyes of the world,
yet remembered by You because of faith.
Let the voice of my life
forever echo before Your throne.

In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
