📖 撒母耳记上 16:7

“耶和华却对撒母耳说：

不要看他的外貌和他身材高大；

我不拣选他。

因为耶和华不像人看人：

人是看外貌，

耶和华是看内心。”

🌿 简短释义

神拣选人的标准不在外貌、不在条件，

而是在人的心是否真实、纯全。

祂看见的，是：

• 动机是否单纯

• 是否敬畏祂

• 在暗中是否仍持守正直

• 是否愿意顺服祂的带领

大卫被选，不是因为外表，

而是因为他有一颗合神心意的心。

纯洁的心，是神最看重的宝贵之处。

主啊，祢看的是我的心。

求祢洁净我里面一切不讨祢喜悦的动机，

使我的心向祢纯全、真实，没有伪装。

让我像大卫一样，成为合祢心意的人。

📖 1 Samuel 16:7

“The Lord said to Samuel:
Do not look at his appearance or his height,
for I have not chosen him.
For the Lord does not see as man sees:
man looks at the outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart.”

🌿 Short Reflection

God’s standard for choosing a person is not based on appearance or outward qualifications,
but on whether the heart is genuine and pure.

What He sees is:
• whether the motives are pure
• whether there is reverence for Him
• whether integrity is kept even in secret
• whether there is a willingness to obey His leading

David was chosen not because of his outward qualities,
but because he had a heart after God’s own heart.
A pure heart is the treasure God values the most.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, You look at my heart.
Cleanse every motive within me that does not please You.
Make my heart pure, true, and without pretense before You.
Let me, like David, become a person after Your own heart.
In the Lord’s name I pray, Amen.
