开始如雾润地,是预备,是神在暗中滋养;
接着如约旦之水,是决定,是选择不退回;

“26” sounds like “river” — 2026, the Year of the River

Genesis 2:6
“But a mist came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground.”
This is the state before the rivers were formed. It is nurturing, it is preparation, it is the awakening of inner life. At the start of 2026, it may not be like a powerful flood, but more like a mist quietly rising—direction not yet visible, yet moisture deeply felt. God is watering subtly—not in dramatic ways, but in silent beginnings.

2 Kings 2:6
“Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to the Jordan.’ But Elisha replied, ‘As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.’”
The Jordan River represents breakthrough and transition—where the old ends and the new begins. This tells us that 2026 may be a moment when one hears the voice that says, “Stay here and wait,” but the heavenly response is, “I will not leave you.” A year of the river requires a heart that follows to the end—not staying at the shore but choosing to walk with God into the waters where the flow will break through.

Nahum 2:6
“The river gates are thrown open and the palace collapses.”
This is when the water force fully breaks forth—when the floodgates are opened. If the mist is the beginning, and the Jordan is the decision, then the opening of the gates is the moment of divine action. The water will not only flow but might impact existing structures—possibly human plans, former security, or even spiritual “palaces.” It is not to destroy people, but to tear open space for God’s renewal.

Thus, the “river” of 26 is not a single water flow, but a progressive spiritual current:
• It begins as mist — preparation, God nourishing in hidden ways
• It moves to Jordan — the choice to follow and not step back
• It advances to open gates — manifestation, divine breakthrough

2026 is not just about the water, but about how people respond to the water.
If we stay at the source, we will be refreshed.
If we walk toward the Jordan, we will enter transformation.
If we do not fear when the gates open, we will witness God in the surge.

“I choose to awaken with You in the morning mist, to not leave You at the Jordan, and to not avoid You when the floodgates open.”

Better to be carried by the river than stay on the bank—because this is the Year of the River.
