📖 但以理书 1:8

“但以理立志（定意）不以王的膳和王所饮的酒玷污自己。”

但以理在被掳环境中，先在心里立定属灵立场，选择不妥协，即使是看似小事的饮食。

定意不是等压力来才决定，而是事先在心中对齐神。

结果神使他蒙恩宠（1:9），证明坚定立场带来神的介入，而不是失去机会。

🙏 祷告

主，我愿像但以理一样，

在环境改变前，先在心里定意不玷污自己。

帮助我在小事忠心，对齐祢的心意。

奉耶稣的名，阿们。

📌 “Purpose in Heart, Not to Defile”

📖 Daniel 1:8
“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies nor with the wine which he drank.”

Daniel, even while in exile, first established his spiritual conviction in his heart and chose not to compromise, even in what seemed like a small matter—his food.
Purpose is not a decision made only when pressure comes, but a prior alignment with God in the heart.
As a result, God caused him to receive favor (v.1:9), showing that a firm stand invites God’s intervention, not the loss of opportunity.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, I desire to be like Daniel—
to set my heart to not defile myself before circumstances change.
Help me to remain faithful in the small things
and stay aligned with Your will.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
