“你要察看 神的作为;

“寻找有时,失落有时;

失落有时;

并不等于人生倒退;

赐我安静;

🌿 A Time to Stop and a Time to Wait
📅 Date: January 30, 2026
📖 Ecclesiastes 7:13; 3:6

“Consider the work of God:
for who can straighten what He has made crooked?” (Eccl. 7:13)

“A time to search, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to let go.” (Eccl. 3:6)

🌱 Observation

There are moments in life
when the road ahead suddenly comes to a halt.

Not because the direction is wrong,
and not because we have failed,
but because we slowly come to see—
this path is no longer fitting for this moment.

An image invites quiet reflection:
a vehicle approaches a carpark entrance
marked with a height restriction.

The car stops.

Not because the car is faulty,
and not because the carpark is broken,
but because the clearance height
does not allow the vehicle to enter.

The driver pauses.
He does not force his way in.

🌱 Waiting

Instead, he reverses back to the open driveway,
parking in a space without height restrictions,
quietly waiting for the passengers
to complete their matters inside
and return.

Only then
will the journey continue.

This is not retreat,
but discernment.

Not a change of destination,
but respect for timing and limits.

🌱 Wisdom

Here, the Preacher reminds us:
consider the work of God.

Not every obstacle
is meant to be overcome.
Some boundaries
are not punishment,
but timing.

A time to search,
and a time to lose;
a time to keep,
and a time to let go.

Wisdom is not found in forcing entry,
nor in proving that we can go everywhere,
but in discerning—
when it is time to stop,
and when it is time to wait.

To step back
is not to move backward in life.
To wait for a season
is not to waste time.

At times,
waiting itself
is wisdom.

🌱 Rest

Ecclesiastes reminds us
that life under the sun is limited.
To insist on pressing forward
is often nothing more than chasing the wind.

And when we choose
to remain in a fitting place,
to be still within the boundaries God has set,
that discernment of timing
is itself wisdom.

🕊 Prayer

God,
teach me to consider Your work,
to learn discernment
between searching and letting go.

When it is time to stop,
grant me stillness;
when it is time to wait,
grant me trust.

Do not let me force what does not fit,
or rush ahead of Your timing,
but help me, within the boundaries You have set,
to learn wisdom
and to learn rest.
Amen.
