📖 经文:Song of Solomon(雅歌 3:2–5)
⸻
App,
点下 Grab。
⸻
寻找我心所爱的;
就遇见了我心所爱的;
等,是信靠;
不急、不抢;
Grab,
🌿 Grab · Seizing the Moment
📅 Date: 31 January 2026
📖 Scripture: Song of Solomon (Song of Songs 3:2–5)
⸻
🖼️ The Picture
At night, you stand by the roadside.
No taxi appears.
You wait.
Streetlights glow, cars pass by,
yet not a single one stops for you.
As time goes on, your heart slowly grows quiet,
and you begin to realise—
standing here and waiting will only take longer.
You lower your head,
take out your phone,
open the app,
and tap Grab.
⸻
🚗 The Turning Point
At the moment you confirm,
the map lights up.
A car
is moving toward you.
You watch the small dot moving—
not because you tried harder,
but because—
the response was already prepared.
The car stops.
The door opens.
You get in.
It turns out it was never that there were no cars—
it was simply that
the moment had to be seized.
⸻
📖 Echoes of Scripture
“I will rise now, and go about the city;
in the streets and in the squares
I will seek him whom my soul loves.
I sought him, but did not find him.”
(Song of Songs 3:2)
She, too, searched and waited.
There was longing in the night,
but no immediate response.
⸻
“Scarcely had I passed them
when I found him whom my soul loves.
I held him, and would not let him go.”
(Song of Songs 3:4)
Notice the shift—
it does not happen gradually,
but in a sudden encounter.
When the beloved appears,
she does not keep waiting;
she immediately grabs hold.
⸻
“Do not stir up or awaken love
until it so desires.”
(Song of Songs 3:5)
This verse does not teach passive waiting,
but respect for timing.
⸻
🕊️ Spiritual Reflection
• Waiting is not a lack of faith;
it means the moment is not yet mature.
• Grabbing hold is not impulsive;
it is a response to a moment that has ripened.
When God is still preparing,
waiting is trust.
But when God has brought the response near,
failing to act
can become missing the moment.
⸻
🙏 Prayer
Lord,
teach me to discern Your timing.
Let me be still when it is time to wait—
without rushing or forcing.
And when You have prepared the moment for me to walk with You,
keep me from hesitation or retreat.
When You place opportunity before me,
give me a clear and obedient heart—
one that dares to Grab,
to seize the moment You have given.
Not a step too early,
not a step too late,
but at the very moment love has matured,
let me step in,
get on board,
and journey with You.
Amen. 🌿
