⸻
你们撒的种多,收的却少;
你们吃,却不得饱;
喝,却不得足;
穿衣服,却不得暖;
你们盼望多得,所得却少;
🌿 Lack and Realignment: From Shorts to the Storehouse
📅 February 15, 2026
⸻
🌙 The Dream
In the dream, someone was in a mall trying to buy a pair of shorts.
It wasn’t luxury — just a daily necessity.
But the shorts felt too short,
as if they could not fully cover.
The person beside him urged him not to pay,
but to steal instead.
There was tension in the air:
a rush to fill the gap,
while trying to bypass the right path.
In the dream, wearing shorts felt like wearing lack —
an outward sign of an inner emptiness.
And in that moment, I understood:
People do not lack shorts.
People lack a storehouse.
The shorts could not cover,
because true covering
does not come from clothing,
but from the source.
⸻
📖 Scripture
You have sown much, and bring in little;
you eat, but do not have enough;
you drink, but are not filled;
you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm;
and he who earns wages
earns wages to put into a bag with holes.
— Haggai 1:6
You looked for much, but indeed it came to little;
and when you brought it home, I blew it away.
Why? says the Lord of hosts.
Because My house lies in ruins,
while every one of you runs to his own house.
— Haggai 1:9
⸻
✨ Explanation
The dream and the scripture reveal the same truth:
Lack is not a resource problem —
it is a source problem.
When God’s storehouse is not at the center,
people keep patching life from the outside,
yet still feel uncovered.
“Stealing” in the dream is not an act,
but a form of anxiety:
rushing to possess,
unwilling to wait,
trying to bypass God’s path
to fill the empty places.
Haggai shows a spiritual cycle:
When God’s house is neglected,
life becomes a pattern of grasping without fullness.
This is not God taking away.
It is God calling:
Come back.
Return to the storehouse.
When the relationship is restored,
covering is restored,
and the heart is no longer poor.
⸻
🙏 Prayer
Lord,
when I grow anxious because of lack,
bring me back to Your storehouse.
Teach me not to cover myself from the outside,
but to rest in Your abundance.
Let my life flow from You,
so that in You
I no longer live in lack.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🌿
