年初二在华人文化中，是一个充满温度的日子。
这是回娘家的日子——回到生命的起点，回到那个永远接纳你的地方。
无论你这一年经历了什么，娘家仍为你开着门。
而马太福音 1:23 的“以马内利”，
让我们看见一个更深的真理：
不是我们回家，
而是神先来到我们中间。
在我们还不知道如何回家、
甚至不确定自己是否配回家的时候，
神已经踏上寻找我们的路。
祂不是在天上等我们整理好自己；
祂不是远远观察我们的挣扎；
祂是亲自来到人间，住在我们中间。
以马内利意味着：
• 神不是等我们回去，而是主动来找我们
• 神不是远远祝福，而是亲自陪伴
• 神不是偶尔临到，而是永远同在
• 神不是要求我们先变好，而是先把爱给我们
年初二提醒我们：人渴望回家。
以马内利提醒我们：神就是我们的家。
当我们回不了某些地方、
修不好某些关系、
找不到某些归属时，
主轻声说：
我在这里，我与你同在。

🌿 生活应用
今天，无论你是否真的能回到“娘家”，
你都可以在心里回到那位永远接纳你的神那里。
你可以这样操练：
• 在心里对主说一句：“主，谢谢祢与我同在。”
• 回想过去一年中祂如何陪你走过难处
• 把你最深的疲惫与真实的渴望交给祂
• 在祂的同在里重新得力、重新得安息
因为以马内利不是节日祝福，
而是每天可以经历的现实。

主啊，谢谢祢在这个年初二提醒我：
真正的家不是一个地点，而是祢的同在。
当我迷失时，祢来找我；
当我软弱时，祢扶持我；
当我不配时，祢仍然爱我。
愿我在新的一年里，
无论走到哪里，
都活在以马内利的恩典中。
奉主耶稣的名，阿们。

and they will call him Immanuel.”

🌙 Reflection
The second day of the Lunar New Year is a day filled with warmth in Chinese culture.
It is the day of returning to one’s maternal home — returning to the place of origin,
returning to the place that always receives you.
No matter what you went through this past year,
that home remains open, waiting for you.
But Matthew 1:23 reveals a deeper and more beautiful truth:
It is not we who first return home —
God came to us first.
Before we even knew how to return,
before we were sure we were worthy of returning,
God had already set out to find us.
He did not wait in heaven for us to fix ourselves.
He did not watch from a distance as we struggled.
He came personally into the world
and dwelt among us.
Immanuel means:
- God does not wait for us to come back — He comes looking for us
- God does not bless from afar — He walks with us
- God is not occasionally present — He is always with us
- God does not demand we improve first — He gives love first
Day 2 of the New Year reminds us:
humans long for home.
Immanuel reminds us:
God Himself is our home.
When we cannot return to certain places,
cannot repair certain relationships,
cannot find belonging —
the Lord gently says:
I am here. I am with you.

🌿 Life Application
Today, whether or not you are able to return to your “family home,”
you can return in your heart
to the God who always receives you.
You can practice this:
- Whisper in your heart: “Lord, thank You for being with me.”
- Recall how He carried you through the past year
- Give Him your deepest fatigue and truest longings
- Rest and be renewed in His presence
Because Immanuel is not a holiday greeting —
it is a reality you can live in every day.

🙏 Prayer
Lord, thank You for reminding me this New Year’s Day 2
that true home is not a place, but Your presence.
When I am lost, You come searching.
When I am weak, You hold me.
When I feel unworthy, You still love me.
May I walk into this new year
living wherever I go
in the grace of Immanuel.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
