却感到孤单;

🌿 A Shepherd’s Heart
📅 February 19, 2026
📖 Mark 6:34

“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So He began teaching them many things.”

🌙 Devotional Reflection

This is a verse filled with warmth.

Jesus had just experienced intense ministry and the need for rest.
Yet when He stepped ashore and saw the crowd,

He did not say,
“Why are they here again?”

His first response was—
compassion.

“Like sheep without a shepherd.”

Sheep without a shepherd are not just lost;
they are:
• easily wounded
• easily devoured
• easily led in the wrong direction

Jesus did not merely see numbers.
He saw scattered hearts.

He did not begin with miracles.
He began with teaching.

Because true protection
is not temporary provision,
but restored direction.

✨ Today’s Reminder

Perhaps today you are surrounded by people,
yet feel alone.

Perhaps outwardly you seem steady,
but inwardly you feel directionless.

The Lord is not watching you from a distance.
He sees you—
and His heart is moved.

His protection
begins with His Word.

🙏 Prayer

Lord,
when I am lost, be my Shepherd.
When I am weary, lead me into quiet rest.

Give me Your heart—
to see needs in the crowd,
and to remain compassionate even in busyness.

Amen.
