——彩虹之约与住在我们中间的光

昨天雨后，我在海边缓缓而行。

往前看，是一道清晰的彩虹，
横跨天际，色彩温柔，却坚定。

往后看，云层舒展，
像翅膀一样展开，
仿佛守望着这片被雨洗净的世界。

天空尚未完全放晴，
空气仍然潮湿，
但光已经突破云层。

那一刻，我心里有一个简单却深刻的领受：

神不只是立约，
祂亲自来守约。

彩虹，是神设立的记号。
洪水之后，祂没有留下恐惧，
祂留下应许。

审判之后仍有怜悯，
风暴之后仍有盼望。

但到了《约翰福音》，
神不再只是把记号挂在天空——
祂把自己带到人间。

“道成了肉身，住在我们中间。”

从远远的天际，
到近近的同在。

彩虹的出现，需要两样：

☀️ 光
🌧 雨

没有光，没有彩虹。
没有雨，也没有彩虹。

在基督里：
• 真理如光
• 恩典照进我们软弱的泪水

神没有等我们刚强才临到。
祂是在我们软弱时显明自己。

雨像我们的眼泪。
像试炼。
像那些无法掌控的时刻。

但当光进入泪水，
色彩便开始形成。

彩虹不是否认风暴，
而是让风暴成为荣耀的背景。

挪亚之约保证世界不再被洪水毁灭。
基督之约保证生命不再被罪吞没。

外在的洪水不再毁灭世界，
内在的黑暗也不再是终局。

昨天的天空给我两个方向：

往前，是彩虹——神的应许。
往后，是翅膀——神的守护。

彩虹之后是阳光。
十字架之后是恩典。

🌈 是记号。
✝️ 是同在。
💧 是生命。

🌦 Devotional Reflection

Yesterday after the rain, I walked slowly along the shore.

In front of me was a clear rainbow,
stretching across the sky,
its colors gentle, yet steady.

Behind me, the clouds spread wide,
like wings unfolding,
as if watching over this world washed clean by rain.

The sky had not fully cleared.
The air was still heavy with moisture.
Yet the light had already broken through the clouds.

In that moment, a simple yet profound realization settled in my heart:

God does not only make a covenant—
He comes to keep it Himself.

The rainbow is a sign established by God.
After the flood, He did not leave fear behind—
He left a promise.

After judgment, there is still mercy.
After the storm, there is still hope.

But in the Gospel of John,
God does not merely hang a sign in the sky—
He brings Himself into the world.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

From distant horizons
to intimate presence.

A rainbow requires two things:

☀️ Light
🌧 Rain

Without light, there is no rainbow.
Without rain, there is no rainbow.

In Christ:
• Truth is like light
• Grace shines into our tears of weakness

God did not wait for us to become strong before coming near.
He revealed Himself in our weakness.

Rain can feel like our tears.
Like trials.
Like moments beyond our control.

But when light enters the tears,
color begins to form.

The rainbow does not deny the storm—
it turns the storm into a backdrop for glory.

The covenant with Noah ensured the world would not be destroyed by flood.
The covenant in Christ ensures life will not be swallowed by sin.

The outer flood no longer destroys the earth.
The inner darkness is no longer the final word.

Yesterday’s sky showed me two directions:

Ahead of me was the rainbow—God’s promise.
Behind me were the wings—God’s protection.

After the rainbow comes sunlight.
After the cross comes grace.

🌈 A sign.
✝️ A presence.
💧 A life.
