保罗称自己为“最小的”。

这是那位写下新约大量书信的人。
是建立许多教会的宣教士。
是奠定基督信仰教义的重要教师。

然而他说：

“我是最小的。”

真正的属灵成熟，不是放大自己，
而是放大恩典。

保罗从未忘记自己的过去。
他记得自己曾逼迫如今所服事的教会。
他知道自己的呼召不是赚来的，而是赐下的。

谦卑不是自我否定，
而是清楚地看见自己。

看见自己的软弱，
也看见神的怜悯。

世界教导我们要推销自己、
维护形象、
建立名声。

但神国的法则不同。

当我们越明白恩典，
就越不夸耀自己。

在下一节（林前 15:10），保罗说：

“然而我今日成了何等人，是蒙神的恩才成的。”

这才是平衡：

不是羞愧，
不是骄傲，
而是恩典。

我们不是由最糟糕的过去定义，
也不是由成就抬高。

我们今天站立的地方，
是恩典把我们带到这里。

当我们记得这一点，
比较会减少，
竞争会减弱，
感恩会增长。

在自己眼中“微小”，
是为神的伟大腾出空间。

🙏 今日祷告

主啊，

保守我的心谦卑。

让我永远记得祢的怜悯。
每一个恩赐、每一次机会、每一步前行，
都是恩典。

当骄傲升起时，
让我回到感恩。

当羞愧试图定义我时，
让我稳固在祢的呼召里。

因着祢的恩典，
我成了今日的我。

🌿 Small, Yet Chosen

🌙 Devotional Reflection

Paul calls himself “the least.”

This is the man who wrote much of the New Testament.
The missionary who planted churches.
The teacher who shaped Christian theology.

Yet he says,
“I am the least.”

True spiritual maturity does not magnify the self —
it magnifies grace.

Paul never forgot where he came from.
He remembered that he once persecuted the very church he now served.
He remembered that his calling was not earned, but given.

Humility is not self-hatred.
It is clear vision.

It is seeing ourselves honestly —
both our past failures and God’s present mercy.

The world teaches us to promote ourselves,
to defend our reputation,
to build our image.

But the Kingdom works differently.

The more we understand grace,
the less we boast in ourselves.

In the very next verse (1 Corinthians 15:10), Paul says:

“By the grace of God I am what I am.”

That is the balance:

Not shame.
Not pride.
But grace.

We are not defined by our worst moments.
And we are not elevated by our achievements.

We stand where we stand
because grace placed us there.

When we remember this,
comparison fades,
competition weakens,
gratitude grows.

To be “small” in our own eyes
is to make room for God to be great.

🙏 Prayer

Lord,

Keep my heart humble.

Let me never forget Your mercy.
Remind me that every gift, every opportunity, every step forward
is grace.

When pride tries to rise,
ground me in gratitude.

When shame tries to define me,
anchor me in Your calling.

By Your grace,
I am what I am.

Amen.
