“你们要小心，不要失去你们（有古卷作‘我们’）所作的工，乃要得着满足的赏赐。”

使徒约翰在这封很短的书信中，给教会一个非常重要的提醒：

要小心。

这里的“小心”不是害怕，而是 警醒、留意、守望自己的生命与信仰。

很多时候，我们容易把注意力放在“开始做什么”，

却忽略了 是否守住已经建立的生命。

一个人可能曾经：

• 很热心地爱主

• 很忠心地服事

• 很认真地追求真理

但如果后来放松警醒，被世界吸引，或被错误的教导影响，

就可能 失去曾经建立的属灵生命和工作。

因此，约翰提醒信徒：

不要失去已经作成的工。

神不仅看我们是否开始，

更看我们 是否坚持到底。

当信徒忠心持守真理、持续行在主的道路上，

神所预备的不是一点点的奖赏，

而是 “满足的赏赐”。

这赏赐不仅是将来的荣耀，

也是今天在主里的平安、喜乐与生命的丰盛。

祷告

主啊，

求祢帮助我常常警醒，守住祢在我生命中所开始的工作。

不让我因软弱、分心或世界的吸引，

失去已经建立的信心与生命。

愿我在每一天都忠心跟随祢，

直到走完祢为我预备的道路。

好让我最终得着祢所应许的

满足的赏赐。

“Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.”

Devotional

In this very short letter, the apostle John gives the church an important reminder:
Be careful.

The word “watch out” means to stay alert, be attentive, and guard your spiritual life.

Often we focus on starting something for God,
but we forget the importance of preserving what God has already built in us.

A person may have once:
• Loved the Lord passionately
• Served faithfully
• Pursued the truth sincerely

But if they later become careless, distracted by the world, or influenced by false teaching,
they may lose what they have built spiritually.

Therefore John reminds believers:
Do not lose what has already been accomplished.

God does not only look at how we begin,
He also looks at how we finish.

When believers remain faithful, continue in the truth, and walk steadily with the Lord,
the reward God prepares is not partial—
it is a full reward.

This reward is not only future glory,
but also the peace, joy, and fullness of life in Christ today.

Prayer

Lord,
help me to stay watchful and guard the work You have begun in my life.
Do not let me lose what You have built because of weakness, distraction, or the pull of the world.

Teach me to follow You faithfully each day,
until I finish the path You have prepared for me.

May I receive the full reward You have promised.
