在创世记第一章，圣经向我们揭示了一个极其重要的真理：

人不是偶然出现的，而是神精心设计的创造。

神在造人的时候说：

“我们要照着我们的形像，按着我们的样式造人。”

这句话说明，人被创造时就带着一种独特的身份——

人是神形像的承载者。

在所有受造物中，只有人被赋予这样的荣耀。

这意味着，人被造是为了反映神的性情、彰显神的荣耀，并在地上代表神。

因此，人不仅仅是一个会思想、会工作的生命。

人更是一个被呼召去 活出神形像的生命。

神也赐给人使命：

要生养众多，遍满地面，治理这地，并管理地上的一切活物。

这说明，人被创造不仅是为了生存，

更是为了 治理、管理和守护神所创造的世界。

人原本被赋予祝福、责任与尊荣。

然而，当人离开神时，这份荣耀也逐渐被遮蔽。

但感谢主，在基督里，神正在恢复祂起初对人的心意。

当我们回到神面前，我们重新学习活出神的形像，

让生命再次成为祂荣耀的见证。

亲爱的天父，

感谢你按着你的形像创造我，使我的生命有尊贵的价值和意义。

求你帮助我记得，我不是为自己而活，而是为彰显你的荣耀而活。

愿我的思想、言语和行为，都越来越像你。

也求你帮助我忠心管理你所托付的一切，在地上活出你的心意。

— Genesis 1:26

✨ Devotional

In Genesis chapter 1, Scripture reveals an important truth:
Human beings did not appear by accident; we were intentionally created by God.

When God created humanity, He said:
“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.”

This statement reveals a unique identity given to humanity—
humans are created to bear the image of God.

Among all creation, only humans were given this honor.
This means that human beings were created to reflect God’s character, display His glory, and represent Him on the earth.

Therefore, humans are not merely creatures who think, work, and survive.
We are called to live in a way that reflects God’s image.

God also gave humanity a mission:
to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and have dominion over it and over all living creatures.

This shows that human life was created not only for survival,
but for stewardship, responsibility, and governance over God’s creation.

Originally, humanity was given blessing, purpose, and honor.
But when people turned away from God, that glory became obscured.

Yet thanks be to God—through Christ, He is restoring His original intention for humanity.
When we return to Him, we begin to rediscover what it means to live as His image-bearers,
and our lives once again reflect His glory.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for creating me in Your image and giving my life dignity and purpose.
Help me remember that I am not living for myself, but to reflect Your glory.
May my thoughts, words, and actions increasingly reflect Your character.
Teach me to faithfully steward all that You have entrusted to me,
and to live out Your will on the earth.

In the name of Jesus, Amen. 🙏
