Elijah stood before 450 prophets of Baal.
He was not anxious.
He was not intimidated.
Instead—he mocked them.
- “Maybe your god is thinking.”
- “Maybe he stepped away.”
- “Maybe he’s traveling.”
- “Maybe he’s sleeping—wake him up.”
It sounds almost humorous,

Lord,

If there is anything I am relying on that cannot answer,
tear it down by Your truth.
Give me the courage and calm confidence of Elijah,
that I may stand firm in You—
