👉 Daniel 10:12–13
“Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me…”

✨ Devotional Reflection
“From the first day, your prayer was already heard.” These words were not spoken to someone who had just begun praying, but to someone who had been waiting for 21 days. Many times, we misunderstand silence. We think no response means no one has heard. We assume that delay means God has not decided. But God says: from the very first day, I heard you.
The answer had already been sent. Yet in the unseen realm, there was resistance, opposition, a battle we could not perceive. Those twenty-one days were not a delay from God, but a journey through opposition. It was not that the prayer was small, but that the answer carried weight.
Daniel did not know any of this. He simply kept praying, day after day. Perhaps there was weariness, perhaps questions, but he did not stop. And when the angel finally arrived, the first words spoken were not explanation, but reassurance: “Do not be afraid.” Because even when you could not see it, God had already begun to move.
Maybe you are in a season where there is still no visible answer. You have prayed, yet nothing seems to change. But this passage reminds you: it is not that God has not started—it is that He already has. What you need now is not to doubt, but to stand firm. Because some answers are not about if—they are about when they arrive.
