“你要逃避少年的私欲，同那清心祷告主的人追求公义、信德、仁爱、和平。”（提摩太后书 2:22）

灵修：

一、逃避：有些试探不是用“赢”的，而是用“离开”的

保罗给年轻的提摩太的第一句提醒是：“逃避少年的私欲。”

这里的“私欲”不只指情欲，也包括冲动、骄傲、好争辩、血气和想证明自己。很多时候，我们以为属灵就是要“战胜”试探，但圣经的智慧有时更简单，也更实际：离开。

就像约瑟逃离波提乏妻子的引诱，大卫躲避扫罗的追杀。有些争论、有些环境、有些诱惑，最属灵的选择不是硬碰硬，而是转身离开。

二、追求：生命需要方向，而不是只有禁止

保罗没有只说“不要做什么”，他接着说：“要追求。”

基督徒的生命不是消极地克制，而是积极地成长。保罗列出四个方向，这些都是基督生命的特质：

公义——在神面前活得正直

信德——对神持续的信靠

仁爱——对人的真实关怀

和平——与神与人和好的生命

信仰不是只是“尽量不犯罪”，而是“越来越像基督”。

三、同行：属灵生命不是一个人的旅程

经文中有一个关键的短语：“同那清心祷告主的人。”

保罗提醒提摩太，属灵成长不是独行侠的道路。神把我们放在教会和团契中，是要我们一起祷告、一起追求、一起扶持。

当我们与清心寻求神的人同行，生命更容易被保守，也更容易坚持到底。

今日默想

这节经文给我们三个简单却关键的方向：

逃避 → 追求 → 同行

逃避罪恶，追求基督，与圣徒同行。属灵生命不是孤军奋战，而是离开黑暗，与爱神的人一起走向光明。

今日祷告

主啊，求祢保守我的心，让我懂得逃避一切使我远离祢的事。也帮助我不只躲避罪恶，更积极追求公义、信心、爱心与和平。求祢赐给我清心祷告祢的同伴，让我们彼此扶持，一起走在属祢的道路上。奉主耶稣的名祷告，阿们。

Scripture:
“Youthful lusts flee; pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”
(2 Timothy 2:22)

Devotion:

1. Flee: Some temptations are not won by fighting, but by leaving.
   Paul’s first instruction to young Timothy was: “Flee youthful lusts.”

These “lusts” are not limited to sexual temptation. They also include impulsiveness, pride, argumentative attitudes, emotional reactions, and the desire to prove oneself.

Often we think spiritual maturity means standing and fighting every temptation. Yet the wisdom of Scripture is sometimes much simpler and more practical: leave.

Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife, and David fled from Saul. There are arguments, environments, and temptations where the most spiritual choice is not confrontation, but turning away.

2. Pursue: Life needs direction, not just restriction.
   Paul did not only say what to avoid; he immediately said what to pursue.

The Christian life is not merely about restraint; it is about growth. Paul lists four qualities that reflect the life of Christ:

Righteousness — living uprightly before God
Faith — continual trust in God
Love — genuine care for others
Peace — living in reconciliation with God and people

Faith is not simply “trying not to sin.” It is becoming more and more like Christ.

3. Walk Together: Spiritual life is not a solo journey.
   A key phrase in this verse is: “along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”

Paul reminds Timothy that spiritual growth is not meant to be a solitary path. God places us in the church and in fellowship so that we may pray together, pursue God together, and support one another.

When we walk with people who sincerely seek the Lord, our lives are better protected, and we are more able to remain faithful.

Today’s Reflection
This verse gives us three simple but essential directions:

Flee → Pursue → Walk Together

Flee from sin.
Pursue Christ.
Walk with fellow believers.

Spiritual life is not a lonely struggle. It is leaving darkness and walking toward the light together with those who love God.

Prayer
Lord, guard my heart and help me to flee from anything that draws me away from You. Help me not only to avoid sin, but to actively pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Grant me companions who call on You with a pure heart, so that we may encourage one another and walk faithfully in Your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏
