📖 经文：帖撒罗尼迦后书 3:11–12

“因我们听说，在你们中间有人不按规矩而行，什么工都不作，反倒专管闲事。

我们靠主耶稣基督，吩咐、劝戒这样的人，要安静作工，吃自己的饭。”

一、属灵的错位

帖撒罗尼迦教会有人因等候主再来，开始停止工作。

他们不是软弱，

而是选择不负责任。

更特别的是——

他们不做自己的事，

却忙着管别人的事。

当人失去自己的使命，

就会对别人的人生特别热心。

二、“安静”不是沉默

保罗说：“要安静作工。”

这里的“安静”不是闭嘴，

而是：

• 不制造纷争

• 不情绪化

• 不属灵表演

• 不高调宣告却低调逃避责任

真正成熟的生命，

往往是稳定而不张扬的。

三、“吃自己的饭”

这句话听起来很普通，

却非常重要。

它代表：

• 自立

• 责任

• 尊严

• 规律

神不是呼召我们逃避现实，

而是在现实中荣耀祂。

四、今日提醒

有时候我们会：

• 关心别人的失败

• 评论别人的选择

• 议论别人的问题

却忽略了神今天交托给我们的功课。

属灵的成长，

从“管别人”转向“管理自己”开始。

主啊，

求祢让我不逃避自己的责任，

不把时间花在评论别人身上。

教我安静，

教我忠心，

教我在平凡中活出敬虔。

让我在自己的位分上，

稳稳站立。

🌿 Work Quietly, Guard Your Calling

📖 Scripture: Second Thessalonians 3:11–12

“We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.
Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat.”

I. Spiritual Misalignment

In Thessalonica, some believers stopped working because they were expecting the Lord’s return.

They were not weak.
They were disengaged.

What made it worse was this:

They neglected their own responsibilities,
yet became deeply involved in other people’s lives.

When a person loses focus on their calling,
they often become overly focused on others.

II. “Settle Down” Does Not Mean Silence

Paul says: “Settle down and work.”

This kind of quietness is not about saying nothing.
It means:
• Not stirring unnecessary conflict
• Not living emotionally reactive
• Not using spiritual language to escape real life
• Not appearing passionate while avoiding responsibility

Mature faith is often steady and unremarkable.

III. “Earn the Food You Eat”

This simple phrase carries deep meaning.

It speaks of:
• Responsibility
• Dignity
• Stability
• Order

God does not call us to escape life.
He calls us to honor Him within it.

IV. Today’s Reflection

It is easy to:
• Comment on others
• Analyze others
• Correct others

Yet neglect the assignment God has given us.

Spiritual growth begins
when we shift from managing others
to stewarding ourselves.

🕊 Prayer

Lord,

Keep my heart from distraction.
Teach me to be faithful in what You have entrusted to me.

Help me to work quietly,
to live responsibly,
and to stand firm in my own calling.

May my life be steady,
even when it is unseen.
