经文：
撒迦利亚书 9:16–17

“当那日，耶和华他们的神必看他的民，如群羊拯救他们；因为他们必像冠冕上的宝石，在他的地上发光辉……他的恩慈何等大！他的荣美何其盛！五谷健壮少男，新酒培养处女。”

神看祂的百姓，不是看他们过去的失败，而是看他们在祂手中将成为的样式。

经文告诉我们，神不仅像牧人一样拯救祂的羊群，更把祂的百姓看作“冠冕上的宝石”。宝石并非生来就璀璨，而是经过长久的雕琢与打磨，才能散发光彩。同样，我们生命中的试炼、等候和塑造，都没有白费。神正在亲手雕琢我们，使我们成为能够反映祂荣耀的人。

“在祂的地上发光辉”提醒我们，神拯救我们，不只是为了让我们得福，更是为了让我们在所处的地方活出祂的荣耀，成为别人的祝福。

随后，经文提到“五谷健壮少男，新酒培养处女”，描绘了一幅充满生命力与盼望的画面。五谷象征神丰盛的供应，新酒象征喜乐与更新，而少男、处女代表新的一代。神不仅恢复个人，也眷顾下一代，使他们在祂的恩典中成长、刚强，承接祂的应许。

今天，让我们记住，我们不是普通的石头，而是神眼中珍贵的宝石；不是靠自己发光，而是因神的恩慈与荣美，反映祂的荣耀，照亮这个世代。

祷告：

亲爱的天父，感谢你拯救我，也珍爱我如同冠冕上的宝石。求你继续雕琢我的生命，使我反映你的荣美，在你所安置我的地方发出光辉。也求你赐福年轻的一代，使他们在你的恩典中成长，刚强壮胆，成为荣耀你名的人。愿我们的生命都成为你荣耀的见证。奉主耶稣的名祷告，阿们。

Crown Jewels

28 June 2026 – Devotional

Scripture:
Zechariah 9:16–17

“On that day the Lord their God will save His people as a shepherd saves his flock. They will sparkle in His land like jewels in a crown… How great is His goodness, and how great His beauty! Grain will make the young men thrive, and new wine the young women.”

God does not look at His people through the lens of their past failures. Instead, He sees who they are becoming in His hands.

This passage tells us that God not only saves His people like a shepherd rescuing His flock, but also regards them as jewels in His crown. A precious stone is not born with its brilliance fully revealed. It must be carefully cut, polished, and refined before its beauty shines forth. In the same way, the trials, waiting seasons, and shaping work in our lives are never wasted. God is personally refining us so that we may reflect His glory.

The phrase, “They will sparkle in His land,” reminds us that God saves us not merely to bless us, but to display His glory through our lives wherever He has placed us. We are called to become a blessing to those around us.

The passage continues by saying, “Grain will make the young men thrive, and new wine the young women.” This paints a beautiful picture of life, abundance, and hope. Grain represents God’s abundant provision, while new wine symbolizes joy and renewal. The young men and young women represent the next generation. God is not only restoring individuals; He is also raising up the next generation to grow strong in His grace and inherit His promises.

Today, let us remember that we are not ordinary stones—we are precious jewels in God’s eyes. We do not shine by our own strength, but by reflecting His goodness and beauty, bringing His light to this generation.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for saving me and treasuring me as a jewel in Your crown. Continue to refine my life so that I may reflect Your beauty and shine wherever You have placed me. I also pray for the younger generation. May they grow in Your grace, be strong and courageous, and become people who glorify Your name. May our lives be a testimony of Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
