2026年8月29日｜灵修经文：那鸿书 1:14–15

“看哪，
有报好信、传平安之人的脚登山。”

尼尼微，
曾经是一个令人惧怕的名字。

它强大，
它威武，
它让许多人觉得，
这样的帝国，
好像永远不会倒下。

但是神说：

“我必使你归于坟墓。”

然后，画面突然改变了。

远处的山岭上，
出现了一个人的脚步。

他不是来报告战争，
而是来报告平安。

他带来的消息是：

压迫结束了。
平安来了。
你们可以重新敬拜神了。

有时候，
我们的人生也是这样。

当我们还在山谷里的时候，
我们看不见山的另一边，
正在发生什么。

我们可能觉得，
环境没有改变。

祷告好像还没有回应。

前面的那座山，
依然那么高。

可是……

你看不见，
不代表神没有工作。

你还没有听见，
也不代表好消息没有在路上。

也许就在你祷告的时候，
神已经在你看不见的地方，
开始改变一些事情。

所以今天，

不要只看眼前的山有多高。

抬起头来。

相信神仍然掌管一切。

因为山的另一边，
也许已经有报好信的人，
正在向你走来。

好消息，
正在路上。

让我们祷告：

主啊，

当我还看不见改变的时候，
求你赐给我信心。

当我还没有听见好消息的时候，
让我仍然相信，
你正在工作。

帮助我不被眼前的环境限制，
也不因为等待而失去盼望。

当你为我开路，
带来平安的时候，

让我重新回到你面前，
敬拜你，
感谢你，
把荣耀归给你。

奉主耶稣的名祷告，

阿们。

Good News Is on the Way

August 29, 2026 | Devotional Scripture: Nahum 1:14–15

“Look, there on the mountains,
the feet of one who brings good news,
who proclaims peace!”

Nineveh
was once a name that struck fear into people’s hearts.

It was powerful.
It was mighty.
It seemed to many
that such an empire
could never fall.

But God said:

“I will prepare a grave for you.”

Then suddenly,
the scene changes.

In the distance,
upon the mountains,
the footsteps of a messenger appear.

He is not coming to announce war.

He is coming to announce peace.

His message is:

The oppression is over.
Peace has come.
You can worship God freely again.

Sometimes,
our lives are like this too.

When we are still in the valley,
we cannot see what is happening
on the other side of the mountain.

We may feel that
nothing has changed.

Our prayers seem unanswered.

And the mountain before us
still looks just as high.

But…

Just because you cannot see it
does not mean God is not working.

Just because you have not heard the news yet
does not mean good news is not on the way.

Perhaps even while you are praying,
God is already working
in places you cannot see,
beginning to change things.

So today,

do not focus only
on how high the mountain before you seems.

Lift up your head.

Trust that God is still in control.

Because on the other side of the mountain,
perhaps a messenger carrying good news
is already making his way toward you.

Good news
is on the way.

Let us pray:

Lord,

when I cannot yet see any change,
give me faith.

When I have not yet heard the good news,
help me still believe
that You are working.

Help me not to be limited
by what I see before me,
and not to lose hope
while I wait.

When You make a way for me
and bring Your peace,

draw me back into Your presence
to worship You,
to thank You,
and to give You all the glory.

In the name of Jesus,
Amen.
