“亲爱的兄弟啊，我愿你凡事兴盛，身体健壮，正如你的灵魂兴盛一样。”

✨ 灵修默想

很多人读到这节经文，第一反应是：“神要我凡事顺利、生活兴盛。”

但如果仔细看，就会发现这节经文的重点，不只是外面的祝福，而是里面的生命。

约翰不是先说“愿你发财”，而是先肯定一个人的属灵状态。

“正如你的灵魂兴盛一样。”

意思是：愿你外面的生活，也像你里面与神的关系一样健康、稳固、丰盛。

今天这个世界很容易只关注外在：

事业有没有进展？

账户有没有增加？

身体有没有状态？

别人怎么看自己？

但神也会轻轻问我们：

你的里面怎么样？

外面看起来忙碌，里面却疲惫吗？

外面看起来平静，里面却焦虑吗？

外面在追求很多，里面却越来越空吗？

真正的兴盛，不只是事情顺利，而是灵里有生命。

当里面有平安，外面的风浪不一定立刻消失，但你不会轻易被吹倒。

当里面有真理，外面的声音再多，也不会轻易迷失。

当里面有神的同在，外面的道路即使不容易，也仍有力量继续前行。

神当然关心我们的身体、生活和需要。

但祂更在意，我们的灵魂是否健康。

因为里面的丰盛，才能承载外面的祝福。

🙏 祷告

主啊，

求你不只是祝福我的外面，

更先更新我的里面。

若我只顾追求外面的顺利，

却忽略了与你的关系，

求你把我的心再次带回你面前。

愿我的灵里被你坚固，

愿我的心充满平安、真理与力量。

也愿你保守我的生活、身体与前路，

让我的生命里外都经历你的恩典。

Prosperity Begins Within

📖 Today’s Scripture
3 John 1:2
“Dear friend, I pray that you may prosper in every way and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”

✨ Devotional Reflection

When many people read this verse, their first thought is:
“God wants me to prosper and succeed in everything.”

But if we look more carefully, the focus is not merely outward blessing—it is the condition of the inner life.

John did not begin with wealth or success.
He pointed first to this:

“Just as your soul prospers.”

In other words:

May your outward life reflect the health, strength, and richness of your relationship with God.

Today’s world easily draws our attention to outward things:

Is my career progressing?
Is my bank account growing?
Is my body feeling strong?
What do others think of me?

But perhaps God gently asks:

How is your inner life?

Do you look busy on the outside, but feel exhausted within?
Do you appear calm, yet carry anxiety inside?
Are you chasing many things outwardly, while feeling empty inwardly?

True prosperity is not merely about circumstances going well.
It is about having life in your soul.

When there is peace within, storms outside may not disappear immediately—but they will not easily break you.
When truth lives within you, the noise around you will not easily confuse you.
When God’s presence fills your heart, even difficult roads can still be walked with strength.

Yes, God cares about our health, our needs, and our daily lives.
But He cares even more about whether our soul is healthy.

Because:

Inner prosperity is what sustains outward blessing.

🙏 Prayer

Lord,
Please do not only bless what is around me—
first, transform what is within me.

If I have been chasing outward success
while neglecting my relationship with You,
draw my heart back to You again.

Strengthen my inner life.
Fill my heart with peace, truth, and renewed strength.

And please watch over my health, my daily life, and the road ahead,
so that my whole life—inside and out—may reflect Your grace.
