“耶稣基督的仆人、雅各的弟兄犹大，写信给那被召、在父神里蒙爱、为耶稣基督保守的人。愿怜恤、平安、慈爱多多地加给你们！”
——犹大书 1:1–2

有时候，我们读经，只觉得是在读熟悉的文字。

但昨夜，一个简单却很深的画面留在心里：耶稣就在经文里。

这让我明白，圣经从来不只是历史，不只是知识，也不只是关于神的故事。

神的话是活的。

当我们读经时，不只是了解关于主的事，而是真实有机会在祂的话语里遇见祂自己。

当再读犹大书这两节经文时，它不再只是犹大写给信徒的一段问候，而像主亲自把这份祝福放在我们生命里。

你是被召的。
你的生命不是偶然，也不是被遗忘。你来到主面前，不是巧合，而是祂主动呼召你。

你是在父神里蒙爱的。
不是因为你够好，也不是因为你今天属灵状态很好，而是因为祂先爱你。

你是为耶稣基督保守的。
不是靠自己的力量坚持到底，而是主亲自看顾你、保守你。

然后第2节这句祝福，也仿佛忽然有了温度：

“愿怜恤、平安、慈爱多多地加给你们。”

像主轻声对你说：

当你软弱时，我的怜恤加给你。
当你焦虑时，我的平安加给你。
当你孤单时，我的慈爱加给你。

而且不是一点点。

是 多多地。

很多时候，我们向神求答案、求帮助、求供应、求突破。

但主常常先提醒我们：

神所赐下最好的，即祂自己。

因为有耶稣，就有真正的平安。
有耶稣，就有不改变的爱。
有耶稣，就有持续的保守。
有耶稣，就有永远的盼望。

今天，也许你正在等一个答案。

但也许主想先告诉你：

若你拥有祂，你已经拥有最宝贵的。

祷告：
主耶稣，谢谢你，你不只是圣经里的名字，你是今天仍然借着你的话向我说话的主。谢谢你让我知道，我不是孤单读着文字，而是在你的话语里遇见你。谢谢你呼召我、爱我、保守我。今天是 5月20日（520），人们会说“我爱你”，但谢谢你让我知道，这世上最真实的爱，不只是被说出来，而是你亲自把自己赐给了我。帮助我记得，最大的礼物不是外面的答案，而是你自己。奉主耶稣的名，阿们。

The Best God Has Given Is Himself

“To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.”
— Jude 1:1–2

Sometimes, we read Scripture as familiar words on a page.

But last night, a simple yet profound impression stayed with me: Jesus was in the Scripture.

And it help me to understand—Scripture is not merely history, knowledge, or stories about God.

The Word of God is living.

When we read the Bible, we are not only learning about the Lord; we are given the opportunity to truly encounter Him in His Word.

As I read these verses in Jude again, they no longer felt like merely Jude’s greeting to believers, but as though the Lord Himself was placing this blessing into our lives.

You are called.
Your life is not an accident, nor have you been forgotten. Coming to the Lord is not a coincidence—it is His loving call.

You are loved in God the Father.
Not because you are good enough, nor because your spiritual condition is perfect, but because He loved you first.

You are kept for Jesus Christ.
Not because you are strong enough to hold on, but because the Lord Himself is watching over you and keeping you.

Then verse 2 suddenly felt even warmer:

“Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.”

As though the Lord were gently saying:

When you are weak, My mercy is for you.
When you are anxious, My peace is for you.
When you feel alone, My love is for you.

And not just a little.

In abundance.

So often, we ask God for answers, help, provision, breakthroughs.

But the Lord often gently reminds us:

The best God has given is Himself.

Because with Jesus, there is true peace.
With Jesus, there is unchanging love.
With Jesus, there is constant protection.
With Jesus, there is eternal hope.

Perhaps today, you are waiting for an answer.

But perhaps the Lord first wants to tell you:

If you have Him, you already have the most precious gift.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You that You are not merely a name written in Scripture, but the living Lord who still speaks to me through Your Word today. Thank You for showing me that I am not reading words alone, but encountering You in them. Thank You for calling me, loving me, and keeping me. Today is May 20 (520), a day when many people say “I love you,” but thank You for reminding me that the truest love in this world is not merely spoken—it is shown in how You gave Yourself for me. Help me remember that the greatest gift is not the outward answers I seek, but You Yourself. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
