【箴言 2:1-5】

“侧耳听智慧，专心求聪明……寻找它如寻找银子，搜求它如搜求隐藏的珍宝。”

【路加福音 10:41-42】

耶稣回答说：

“马大！马大！你为许多的事思虑烦扰，但是不可少的只有一件；马利亚已经选择那上好的福分，是不能夺去的。”

今天灵里看到数字 2、1、5，心中感动这是神提醒我聆听祂的话语，也领受这是生命中最重要的事。

当我翻开箴言2:1-5时，经文提到：领受、存记、侧耳听、专心求、呼求、寻找、搜求。神让我看见，真正的智慧不是在匆忙中得到的，而是在安静寻求中领受的。

随后，心中又想起主耶稣对马大的提醒：

“不可少的只有一件。”

马大忙着服事，马利亚却安静坐在主脚前聆听主的话。耶稣没有责备马大的服事，而是提醒她，不要让忙碌取代了与主亲近。

我忽然明白，箴言所说的“侧耳听智慧”，正与马利亚所选择的是同一件事。她选择停下来，专心聆听主；她选择把主的话看得比手中的事务更重要。

我们常常有许多重要的事情要处理，也有许多责任需要承担。但主提醒我们，在所有重要的事情之上，还有一件更重要的事——聆听祂的声音，寻求祂的心意。

当人愿意像寻找银子、搜求珍宝一样寻求神，就会越来越认识祂，也越来越明白当走的道路。

很多时候，我们以为自己最需要的是答案；其实我们最需要的是主自己。

因为当我们得着主，许多事情都会找到方向；当我们听见主的声音，许多困惑也会渐渐变得清晰。

不可少的，不是更多的忙碌；不可少的，是来到主面前。因为上好的福分，永远是从与主同在开始的。

主啊，在忙碌和喧嚣的生活中，帮助我不失去那上好的福分。让我像马利亚一样，愿意停下脚步来到你面前；也让我像箴言所教导的那样，侧耳聆听、专心寻求你的智慧。愿我不只是为许多事情奔忙，更懂得先寻求你、认识你。因为你才是我生命中不可少的那一位。奉主耶稣的名祷告，阿们。🙏

🌿 The One Thing Necessary

Proverbs 2:1–5

“Turn your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding… seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures.”

Luke 10:41–42

Jesus answered her:

“Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

✨ Devotion

Today, I sensed the numbers 2, 1, and 5 in my spirit. I felt that God was reminding me to listen to His Word and showing me that this is one of the most important things in life.

As I opened Proverbs 2:1–5, I noticed the words: receive, treasure, listen, seek, call out, search, and pursue. God showed me that true wisdom is not found in busyness, but received through quiet and intentional seeking.

Then I was reminded of Jesus’ words to Martha:

“Only one thing is necessary.”

Martha was busy serving, while Mary sat quietly at the Lord’s feet, listening to His words. Jesus did not rebuke Martha for serving. Instead, He reminded her not to let busyness replace intimacy with Him.

Suddenly, I realized that the “listening to wisdom” described in Proverbs is the very thing Mary chose. She stopped what she was doing to listen attentively to the Lord. She considered His words more important than the tasks in her hands.

We often have many important matters to handle and many responsibilities to fulfill. Yet the Lord reminds us that above all important things, there is one thing that is even more important—to listen to His voice and seek His heart.

When we seek God as we would seek silver and hidden treasure, we grow in our knowledge of Him and gain a clearer understanding of the path we should walk.

Many times, we think what we need most is an answer. In reality, what we need most is the Lord Himself.

When we gain Him, many things begin to find their proper direction. When we hear His voice, many of our uncertainties gradually become clear.

What is necessary is not greater busyness; what is necessary is coming before the Lord. For the better portion always begins with being in His presence.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, in the midst of a busy and noisy life, help me not to lose the better portion. Teach me to be like Mary, willing to stop and sit at Your feet. Help me, as Proverbs teaches, to listen carefully and seek Your wisdom wholeheartedly. May I not be consumed with many tasks, but learn to seek You first and know You more deeply. For You alone are the One truly necessary in my life.
