【撒母耳记下 2:1】

“此后，大卫求问耶和华说：‘我上犹大的一个城去可以吗？’耶和华说：‘可以。’大卫说：‘我上哪一个城去呢？’耶和华说：‘上希伯仑去。’”

扫罗已经死了。从人的角度看，大卫终于可以登上王位了。

可是，大卫没有立刻行动。他没有凭自己的经验决定，也没有因为机会来到就马上前进。

圣经告诉我们：“大卫求问耶和华。”

他不只是问：“我该不该去？”他还继续问：“我该去哪里？”

大卫知道，神的时间重要，神的方法也重要。

很多时候，我们容易寻求神的祝福，却不一定寻求神的心意。我们希望神为自己的计划开路，却忘了先问：“神啊，这是祢的路吗？”

对齐神的心意，不是在没有办法的时候才寻求神，而是在每一个决定面前，都愿意把主权交给祂。

当大卫愿意寻求，神不仅告诉他要前进，也告诉他前进的方向。

今天，也许你正面对一个决定、一个新的阶段，或一个未知的未来。愿我们像大卫一样，不急着凭自己判断，而是先来到神面前。

因为真正的平安，不只是知道要做什么，而是知道自己正走在神所指引的路上。

祷告：

天父，帮助我在每一个决定中先寻求祢，不凭自己的聪明和经验行事。求祢让我敏锐祢的声音，对齐祢的心意，走在祢所预备的道路上。奉主名祷告，阿们。

Aligning with God’s Heart

2 Samuel 2:1

“In the course of time, David inquired of the Lord, ‘Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah?’ He said, ‘Go up.’ David asked, ‘Where shall I go?’ ‘To Hebron,’ the Lord answered.”

Saul was dead. From a human perspective, it seemed that David could finally take the throne.

Yet David did not act immediately. He did not rely on his own experience, nor did he rush ahead simply because an opportunity had appeared.

Scripture tells us, “David inquired of the Lord.”

He did not only ask, “Should I go?” He continued to ask, “Where should I go?”

David understood that God’s timing matters, and God’s way matters too.

Many times, we seek God’s blessing, but not necessarily God’s will. We want God to open doors for our plans, yet we forget to first ask, “Lord, is this Your way?”

Aligning with God’s heart is not seeking Him only when we have no other option. It is choosing to surrender every decision to Him and allowing Him to lead.

When David was willing to seek the Lord, God not only told him to move forward, but also showed him the direction to take.

Today, you may be facing a decision, entering a new season, or stepping into an uncertain future. May we be like David—slow to trust our own judgment and quick to come before God.

True peace comes not merely from knowing what to do, but from knowing that we are walking in the path God has prepared for us.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me to seek You first in every decision and not rely on my own wisdom or experience. Make me sensitive to Your voice, align my heart with Your will, and lead me in the path You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
