经文：

【约拿书 2:6】

“我下到山根，地的门将我永远关住。耶和华我的　神啊，你却将我的性命从坑中救出来。”

约拿在大鱼腹中祷告时，用了一个很深刻的画面：“下到山根，地的门将我永远关住。”他觉得自己已经走到了人生的尽头，被黑暗、绝望和失败牢牢困住，再也没有出路。

然而，就在他以为一切都结束的时候，他却向神发出呼求。神没有忘记他，也没有放弃他，而是将他的性命从坑中救出来。

很多时候，我们也会经历这样的时刻。可能是事业的低谷、家庭的压力、身体的软弱，或者心灵的疲惫，仿佛所有的门都关上了，看不到前面的路。

但约拿的经历告诉我们：人的尽头，往往是神工作的开始。

神不一定立刻改变环境，却会先拯救我们的生命，恢复我们的盼望。当我们愿意转向祂，最深的海也不能隔绝祂的恩典，最黑的坑也不能拦阻祂的救赎。

今天，也许你觉得自己正在“山根”之下，但不要忘记，神仍然掌管海浪，也掌管你的未来。祂能把人从深坑中领出来，把绝望变成新的开始。

祷告：

主啊，当我觉得前路封闭、四面无路时，帮助我仍然仰望你。感谢你是从深坑中拯救我的神，使我在黑暗中仍有盼望，在困境中仍有信心。愿我一生倚靠你的恩典，经历你奇妙的救赎。奉主耶稣的名祷告，阿们。

From the Depths to Grace

Scripture:
Jonah 2:6

“I went down to the roots of the mountains; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But You, LORD my God, brought my life up from the pit.”

As Jonah prayed from inside the great fish, he painted a powerful picture: “I went down to the roots of the mountains; the earth beneath barred me in forever.” He felt that he had reached the end of his journey, trapped by darkness, despair, and failure, with no way of escape.

Yet at the very moment he thought everything was over, he cried out to God. The Lord did not forget him or abandon him. Instead, He brought his life up from the pit and delivered him.

Many of us experience moments like this. We may face setbacks in our work, pressures in our family, physical weakness, or deep weariness of the soul. It can feel as though every door has been shut and there is no path forward.

But Jonah’s story reminds us of this truth: what seems like the end for us is often the place where God begins to work.

God does not always change our circumstances immediately, but He first restores our lives and renews our hope. When we turn back to Him, even the deepest sea cannot separate us from His grace, and the darkest pit cannot prevent His saving power.

Today, you may feel as though you are at the “roots of the mountains,” surrounded by darkness and uncertainty. But do not forget that God still rules over the waves, and He also holds your future in His hands. He is able to lift us out of the deepest pit and transform despair into a brand-new beginning.

Prayer

Lord, when I feel trapped and see no way forward, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You. Thank You for being the God who lifts me out of the pit, giving me hope in the darkness and faith in the midst of every trial. May I always rely on Your grace and experience the wonder of Your salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
