经文：

“因为你们就是我们的荣耀、我们的喜乐。”
——帖撒罗尼迦前书 2:20

保罗没有说，他的荣耀是建立了多少教会，也没有说，他的喜乐是完成了多少事工。

他说：“你们就是我们的荣耀、我们的喜乐。”

真正的荣耀，不是成就了多少事情，而是影响了多少生命。

今天，我们努力追求成功、财富和成就，但神更看重的是：有没有人因着我们的爱得着安慰，因着我们的陪伴更加认识主，因着我们的生命更有信心继续前行。

能够把人带到主面前，陪伴他们成长，这才是存到永恒的价值。

愿我们的一生，不只是留下成绩，更留下生命；不只是追求成功，更成为别人生命中的祝福。

今日默想：

今天，我是否成为了一个让别人更靠近主的人？

Glory and Joy

Devotional – July 12, 2026

Scripture:

“For you are our glory and joy.”
— 1 Thessalonians 2:20 (ESV)

Paul did not say that his glory was in planting many churches, nor did he say that his joy came from accomplishing great works of ministry.

Instead, he said, “You are our glory and joy.”

True glory is not measured by how much we accomplish, but by how many lives we help transform.

Today, many people strive for success, wealth, and achievements. Yet God values something far greater: whether someone has been comforted through our love, has come to know Christ more deeply through our companionship, and has found renewed faith through the testimony of our lives.

Leading people to Christ and walking alongside them as they grow in Him—these are the investments that carry eternal value.

May our lives be known not merely for achievements, but for transformed lives. May we seek not only success, but also become a blessing in the lives of others.
