“圣灵就是　神藉着耶稣基督我们救主厚厚浇灌在我们身上的。”
——提多书 3:6

许多人以为，信主之后，就要靠自己的努力去做一个好基督徒。但保罗告诉我们，神不仅赦免我们的罪，更借着耶稣基督，将圣灵厚厚地浇灌在我们身上。

这里的「厚厚浇灌」，原文有丰富、充足、毫无保留地倾倒之意。神不是一点一点地供应，而是丰丰富富地赐下圣灵，使我们得着重生、不断更新，并拥有新的生命。

就像一块干裂的土地，再努力也无法长出青草；唯有天降甘雨，生命才能重新萌芽。同样，我们生命真正的改变，不是靠自己的意志，而是圣灵不断地更新和塑造。

愿我们每天都倚靠圣灵，而不是依靠自己，让祂引导我们的脚步，赐下能力，使我们一天比一天更像基督。

今日默想：

今天，我是否愿意放下自己的努力，单单倚靠神所厚厚浇灌在我身上的圣灵，活出更新的生命？

The Holy Spirit Poured Out Abundantly

Devotional – July 16, 2026

Scripture:

“Whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.”
— Titus 3:6 (NKJV)

Many people think that after becoming a Christian, they must rely on their own efforts to live a good Christian life. But Paul reminds us that God has not only forgiven our sins—He has also poured out the Holy Spirit abundantly upon us through Jesus Christ.

The phrase “poured out abundantly” speaks of God’s rich, generous, and overflowing provision. He does not give His Spirit sparingly, but freely and abundantly, bringing us new birth, continual renewal, and new life.

A dry and cracked field cannot produce life through its own effort. Only the rain from heaven can bring it back to life. In the same way, true transformation does not come from human determination, but from the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit within us.

May we learn each day to depend on the Holy Spirit rather than on ourselves. As He leads, strengthens, and renews us, we will become more and more like Christ.

Today, am I relying on my own strength, or am I trusting the Holy Spirit whom God has abundantly poured out upon me to transform my life?
