经文｜约翰三书 10-11节
「他自己不接待弟兄，有人愿意接待，他也禁止，并且将接待弟兄的人赶出教会。」
「亲爱的兄弟啊，不要效法恶，只要效法善。行善的属乎神，行恶的未曾见过神。」
灵修内容
丢特腓不只是自己拒绝接待弟兄，他还禁止别人接待，甚至把愿意接待的人赶出教会。
这是一种很强的 Peer Pressure（同侪／群体压力）。
有时候，我们明明知道什么是对的，却因为害怕被排斥、被批评，或失去群体的认同，而选择跟随别人。
因此约翰提醒：
「不要效法恶，只要效法善。」
属神的人不能因为周围的人都这样做，就跟着这样做。即使面对压力，也要选择神所喜悦的道路。
今日默想
我是否曾因为害怕别人怎么看我，而不敢坚持正确的事？
不要让群体的压力决定我的选择，
要让神的真理决定我的选择。
即使需要付代价，也要有勇气选择良善。
祷告
主啊，求祢赐我勇气，使我不因人的压力而妥协。帮助我分辨善恶，不盲目跟随别人，而是持守祢的真理。
无论环境怎样，愿我选择良善，忠心跟随祢，讨祢的喜悦。阿们。
Don’t Let Peer Pressure Determine Your Choices

Scripture | 3 John 10–11
“He refuses to welcome the brothers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church.”
“Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God.”
Devotional
Diotrephes not only refused to welcome the brothers himself; he also stopped others from welcoming them and even put those who did out of the church.
This is a clear example of peer pressure and group pressure.
Sometimes we know what is right, yet because we are afraid of being rejected, criticized, or losing the acceptance of others, we choose to follow the crowd.
That is why John reminds us:
“Do not imitate what is evil but what is good.”
As people who belong to God, we should not simply follow what everyone else is doing. Even under pressure, we are called to choose what is right and pleasing to God.
Today’s Reflection
Have I ever been afraid to do what is right because I was worried about what others might think of me?
Don’t let peer pressure determine my choices.
Let God’s truth determine my choices.
Even when there is a price to pay, may I have the courage to choose what is good.
Prayer
Lord, give me the courage not to compromise because of pressure from others. Help me discern between good and evil, not blindly follow the crowd, but remain faithful to Your truth.
Whatever the circumstances, help me choose what is good, follow You faithfully, and seek to please You. Amen.
