今天热心,明天疲惫;

Title: Stand Firm
Date: May 8, 2026

2 Thessalonians 2:15
“So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.”

Reflection:
Every day, the world is filled with many voices.
Some tell us what success should look like,
what is worth pursuing,
and what we must become to keep up with the times.

Slowly, hearts can begin to drift.
Passionate today, weary tomorrow.
Certain today, doubtful tomorrow.

But this verse reminds us:
“Stand firm.”

True stability is not outward strength,
but an inner willingness to keep believing the truth, holding onto love, and continuing to follow faithfully.

Sometimes circumstances change.
People change.
Even our emotions rise and fall.
But the word of God does not change.

To “hold fast” is not meant to be a burden,
but a reminder:
do not lose what matters most.

When the world becomes increasingly confusing,
may our hearts remain quietly rooted in truth.
Not by our own strength,
but by returning to God again and again, where we receive new strength.
