以赛亚书 11:6-9

“豺狼必与绵羊羔同居，豹子与山羊羔同卧；少壮狮子与牛犊并肥畜同群；小孩子要牵引它们。

牛必与熊同食；牛犊必与小熊同卧；狮子必吃草，与牛一样。

吃奶的孩子必玩耍在虺蛇的洞口；断奶的婴儿必按手在毒蛇的穴上。

在我圣山的遍处，这一切都不伤人，不害物；因为认识耶和华的知识要充满遍地，好像水充满洋海一般。”

这段经文描绘了一幅令人惊奇的图画：豺狼与羊羔同居，狮子与牛犊同行，牛与熊同食，婴孩也不再惧怕毒蛇。

这些画面看起来超乎自然，但以赛亚要表达的重点并不是动物本身，而是神国度降临时所带来的更新。

经文最后告诉我们原因：

“因为认识耶和华的知识要充满遍地，好像水充满洋海一般。”

当人远离神时，世界充满争竞、伤害与惧怕；当人认识神时，生命便开始改变。

认识神，不只是知道关于神的知识，而是真实经历祂的慈爱、信实、公义和怜悯。

当人认识主，刚硬会变得柔和；仇恨会学习饶恕；惧怕会转为信靠；破裂的关系也会渐渐得着医治。

以赛亚所看见的和平国度，将来必要完全实现；但今天，神已经藉着基督在我们的生命中开始这更新的工作。

愿我们每天更多认识主，让祂的平安先充满我们的心，也透过我们的生命流向身边的人。

主啊，求你让我不只是知道你的话语，更真实地认识你。愿你的生命改变我的生命，使我里面的惧怕、争竞和刚硬都被你的爱更新。愿你的平安掌权在我心中，也成为身边人的祝福。奉主耶稣的名祷告，阿们。

🌿 Peace Begins with Knowing the Lord

Isaiah 11:6-9

“The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat; the calf and the young lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them.

The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den.

They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”

✨ Devotion

This passage paints a remarkable picture: wolves living with lambs, lions walking alongside calves, cows grazing with bears, and children no longer fearing poisonous snakes.

These images seem beyond what is natural, yet Isaiah’s focus is not merely on the animals themselves. He is pointing to the transformation that comes when God’s kingdom is fully revealed.

The key is found in the final verse:

“For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”

When people live apart from God, the world is filled with conflict, fear, and brokenness. But when people truly know Him, lives begin to change.

Knowing God is more than learning facts about Him. It is experiencing His love, faithfulness, righteousness, and mercy personally.

As we know Him more, hardness becomes gentleness, hatred gives way to forgiveness, fear turns into trust, and broken relationships begin to heal.

The peaceful kingdom Isaiah saw will one day be fully established. Yet even now, through Christ, God has begun this work of transformation in our lives.

May we grow daily in the knowledge of the Lord, allowing His peace to fill our hearts and flow through us to those around us.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, help me not only to know about You, but to know You personally. Transform my life through Your love. Replace fear, conflict, and hardness of heart with Your peace. Let Your kingdom be seen in me, and make me a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
