耶利米书 20章10-11节

“我听见了许多人的谗谤，四围都是惊吓，就是我知己的朋友也都窥探我，愿我跌倒，说：‘告他吧！我们也要告他。或者他被引诱，我们就能胜他，在他身上报仇。’

然而耶和华与我同在，好像甚可怕的勇士。因此，逼迫我的必都绊跌，不能得胜；他们必大大蒙羞，就是受永不忘记的羞辱，因为他们行事没有智慧。”

耶利米书第20章记录了先知耶利米因忠心传讲神的话而遭受逼迫。

他被羞辱、被反对、被囚禁。然而，最令他难过的，不只是仇敌的攻击，而是连知己朋友也在暗中观察，盼望他跌倒。

有时候，人生最深的伤害，不是来自陌生人，而是来自曾经同行的人；不是来自远方，而是来自曾经信任的人。

耶利米没有否认自己的痛苦，也没有假装自己不受伤。但就在这样的处境中，他说出一句充满信心的话：

“然而，耶和华与我同在。”

环境没有改变，反对的声音没有停止，人的态度也没有转变。改变的，是耶利米眼光的方向。

他不再定睛于人的背叛，而是定睛于神的同在。

当你被误解时，祂明白你；当你被攻击时，祂扶持你；当你感到软弱时，祂赐给你力量。

人的帮助有限，人的承诺会改变，但神的同在永不改变。

也许有人正在等待你跌倒，但神仍然在扶持你站立；也许有人不明白你，但神完全明白你的道路。

愿耶利米的宣告，也成为我们今天的宣告：

“然而，耶和华与我同在。”

🙏 祷告

主啊，谢谢你在我生命的每一个季节都与我同在。当我面对误解、失望或压力时，帮助我不被环境和人的反应左右，而是定睛在你的信实上。赐我坚定的心，使我在困难中仍能宣告：

“然而，耶和华与我同在。”

Jeremiah 20:10–11

“I hear many whispering,
‘Terror on every side!’
They conspire against me and watch for my fall.
‘Perhaps he will be deceived; then we will prevail over him and take our revenge on him.’

But the LORD is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten.”

✨ Devotion

Jeremiah chapter 20 records how the prophet Jeremiah suffered because he faithfully proclaimed God’s message.

He was mocked, opposed, and imprisoned. Yet what hurt him most was not the attacks of his enemies, but the fact that even his close friends were watching and waiting for him to fail.

Sometimes the deepest wounds in life do not come from strangers, but from people who once walked beside us; not from those far away, but from those we trusted.

Jeremiah did not deny his pain, nor did he pretend that he was unaffected. Yet in the midst of his struggle, he declared a powerful statement of faith:

“Yet the LORD is with me.”

His circumstances had not changed. The opposition had not stopped. People’s attitudes had not improved. What changed was the direction of Jeremiah’s focus.

Instead of fixing his eyes on betrayal, he fixed his eyes on God’s presence.

When you are misunderstood, He understands you. When you are attacked, He upholds you. When you feel weak, He gives you strength.

Human help is limited, and human promises can change, but God’s presence never changes.

Perhaps some are waiting for you to fall, yet God is still sustaining you. Perhaps others do not understand you, yet God fully understands your path.

May Jeremiah’s declaration become our declaration today:

“Yet the LORD is with me.”

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for being with me through every season of life. When I face misunderstanding, disappointment, or pressure, help me not to be controlled by circumstances or people’s reactions, but to fix my eyes on Your faithfulness.

Give me a steadfast heart so that even in difficult times I may continue to declare:

“Yet the LORD is with me.”
