经文｜腓利门书 1:18–19

「他若亏负你，或欠你什么，都归在我的账上；我保罗亲笔写的，我必偿还。」

灵修内容

阿尼西母曾经亏负腓利门，也可能欠下了债。

当他再次回到腓利门面前时，他所面对的不只是过去的错误，还有一笔需要偿还的账。

但保罗站在他们中间，说了一句非常有力量的话：

「他若欠你什么，都归在我的账上；我必偿还。」

阿尼西母的债没有被假装不存在，而是有人愿意替他承担。

这让我们看见一个很美的福音图画。

我们也曾经像阿尼西母一样，带着自己的亏欠来到神面前。罪的代价不是一句「算了」就消失，而是耶稣站在我们的位置上，为我们承担。

仿佛祂对父说：

「把他的债，算在我的账上。」

十字架就是那张已经付清的账单。

所以，我们今天来到神面前，不需要一直活在「我还欠神多少」的恐惧里。

耶稣已经付上代价。

更宝贵的是，阿尼西母得到的不只是债务被处理。

保罗还对腓利门说：

「不再是奴仆，乃是高过奴仆，是亲爱的兄弟。」
——腓利门书 1:16

这就是恩典。

神不只是把我们的债清零，
祂还改变了我们的身份。

从欠债的人，成为被接纳的人；
从奴仆，成为家里的人；
从背负过去的人，成为可以重新开始的人。

真正的自由，不只是「我不再欠债」，而是知道：

我的债已经有人替我偿还，我也已经被接纳进入神的家。

今日默想

我是否仍然背着一些耶稣已经替我承担的罪疚？

我是否相信，十字架不只是赦免我的过去，也给了我一个新的身份？

债已经付清，过去不再作我的主人。
在基督里，我可以自由地重新开始。

祷告

主耶稣，谢谢祢在十字架上担当了我的罪和亏欠。

我原本无法偿还的债，祢已经替我付清。求祢帮助我不再被过去的罪疚捆绑，而是在祢的恩典中活出自由。

也求祢让我记得，我不只是一个被赦免的人，更是一个被祢接纳、被祢所爱、属于神家里的人。

愿我也用自己所领受的恩典去饶恕、接纳和释放别人。

The Debt Has Been Paid

Scripture | Philemon 1:18–19

“If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back.”

Devotional

Onesimus had wronged Philemon and may have owed him a debt.

When he returned to Philemon, he was not only facing the mistakes of his past, but also a debt that needed to be settled.

But Paul stood between them and said something powerful:

“If he owes you anything, charge it to me. I will pay it back.”

The debt of Onesimus was not simply ignored. Someone was willing to take responsibility for it on his behalf.

This gives us a beautiful picture of the gospel.

Like Onesimus, we also come before God carrying our sins and failures. The price of sin does not simply disappear because God says, “Never mind.” Jesus took our place and bore the cost for us.

It is as though He said to the Father:

“Charge their debt to My account.”

The cross is the declaration that the debt has been paid.

Therefore, we do not need to live continually in fear, wondering how much we still owe God.

Jesus has already paid the price.

Even more beautifully, Onesimus did not merely have his debt dealt with.

Paul also told Philemon to receive him:

“No longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother.”
— Philemon 1:16

This is grace.

God does not merely cancel our debt;
He gives us a new identity.

From debtors to those who are accepted.
From slaves to members of the family.
From people bound by the past to people who can begin again.

True freedom is more than being able to say, “I no longer owe anything.”

It is knowing:

My debt has been paid for me, and I have been welcomed into the family of God.

Today’s Reflection

Am I still carrying guilt that Jesus has already carried for me?

Do I truly believe that the cross not only forgives my past but also gives me a new identity?

The debt has been paid.
My past is no longer my master.
In Christ, I am free to begin again.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for bearing my sin and my debt on the cross.

The debt I could never repay, You have paid in full. Help me not to remain bound by the guilt of my past, but to live in the freedom of Your grace.

Remind me that I am not only forgiven, but also accepted, loved, and welcomed into the family of God.

May the grace I have received also enable me to forgive, accept, and release others.
