“我若用不公道的天平和囊中诡诈的法码，岂可算为清洁呢？”

“世人哪，耶和华已指示你何为善。他向你所要的是什么呢？只要你行公义，好怜悯，存谦卑的心，与你的神同行。”
灵修：神不仅看结果，也看过程
在弥迦先知的时代，人们使用天平和法码进行交易。有些商人为了获取更多利益，故意使用不准确的砝码，看似只是微小的偏差，却反映出内心的不诚实。
神透过先知提出一个严肃的问题：使用不公道的天平和诡诈的法码，岂能算为清洁呢？
这提醒我们，神不仅看重我们做了什么，更看重我们是否以诚实、公义和正直的心去做。
精准不只是数字上的准确，更是一种对真理负责的态度。
在生活中，我们可能认为一点点误差无伤大雅，一点点夸大无关紧要，一点点隐瞒也不会影响结果。然而，在神眼中，诚信不应随着事情的大小而改变。
但神所要求的，不只是冷冰冰的精准。
弥迦书6章8节进一步指出，神喜悦的是行公义、好怜悯，并存谦卑的心与祂同行。
公义使我们坚持真实，怜悯使我们善待他人，谦卑使我们愿意承认并纠正错误。
一个真正敬畏神的人，不会为了证明自己正确而扭曲事实，也不会为了维护自己的面子而拒绝修正错误。
因为神所喜悦的，不是一个永远不会犯错的人，而是一个愿意活在真理中、不断被神调整的人。
今日默想
* 我是否在小事上也坚持诚实与准确？
* 当别人指出我的错误时，我愿意谦卑接受并纠正吗？
* 我是否只追求事情做得正确，却忽略了公义、怜悯与爱？

精准使事情正确，诚信使生命正直，谦卑使我们不断靠近神的心意。
今日祷告
亲爱的天父，
感谢祢透过弥迦先知提醒我，祢是一位公义、圣洁、信实的神。
求祢帮助我在言语、判断、工作和生活中，持守真实与诚信，不因事情微小而忽略原则，也不因个人利益而偏离公义。
当我犯错时，赐我谦卑承认的勇气；当我坚持真理时，也赐我温柔和怜悯的心。
愿我的生命不只是追求做对事情，更是以正直的心与祢同行。

Accuracy and Integrity — God Values a Life of Truth

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
Devotion: God Looks Not Only at the Results, but Also at the Process
In the days of the prophet Micah, people used scales and weights in their daily transactions. Some merchants deliberately used inaccurate weights to gain extra profit. What appeared to be a small discrepancy actually revealed dishonesty in their hearts.
Through the prophet, God raised a serious question: Can someone who uses dishonest scales and deceitful weights be considered pure?
This reminds us that God cares not only about what we do, but also whether we do it with honesty, justice, and integrity.
Accuracy is not merely about getting the numbers right; it is also an attitude of responsibility toward the truth.
In our daily lives, we may think that a small error does not matter, a little exaggeration is harmless, or withholding a small detail will not affect the outcome. However, in God’s eyes, integrity should never change according to the size or importance of a matter.
Yet what God requires is more than cold, rigid precision.
Micah 6:8 further reveals that God delights in those who act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him.
Justice leads us to uphold the truth, mercy teaches us to treat others with kindness, and humility enables us to acknowledge and correct our mistakes.
A person who truly fears God will not distort the facts simply to prove himself right, nor refuse to correct an error merely to protect his pride.
For what pleases God is not someone who never makes mistakes, but someone who is willing to live in the truth and continually allow God to shape and correct his life.
Today’s Reflection
* Do I remain honest and accurate even in the smallest matters?
* When others point out my mistakes, am I willing to humbly accept correction and make things right?
* Am I so focused on doing things correctly that I overlook justice, mercy, and love?
Today’s Reminder
Accuracy makes our actions correct, integrity keeps our lives upright, and humility draws us ever closer to God’s heart.
Today’s Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding me through the prophet Micah that You are a God of justice, holiness, and faithfulness.
Help me to uphold truth and integrity in my words, judgments, work, and daily life. May I never compromise my principles because something seems insignificant, nor turn away from justice for personal gain.
When I make mistakes, grant me the courage to acknowledge them humbly. When I stand for the truth, give me a heart filled with gentleness and mercy.
May my life be devoted not merely to doing things correctly, but to walking with You in righteousness and integrity.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray.
