经文｜腓立比书 3:12–14

【腓3:12】这不是说我已经得着了，已经完全了，我乃是竭力追求，或者可以得着基督耶稣所以得着我的（“所以得着我的”或作“所要我得的”）。

【腓3:13】弟兄们，我不是以为自己已经得着了，我只有一件事，就是忘记背后，努力面前的，

【腓3:14】向着标竿直跑，要得　神在基督耶稣里从上面召我来得的奖赏。

灵修

保罗说了一句很特别的话：「基督耶稣所以得着我的。」

原来基督得着我们，不只是为了把我们从过去救出来，也是为了带我们进入祂为我们预备的命定。

保罗已经经历了许多——遇见复活的主、传福音、建立教会、经历神迹，也经历逼迫和患难。然而他说：「我不是以为自己已经得着了。」

属灵生命最危险的时候，不一定是跌倒的时候，也可能是我们以为自己「已经到了」的时候。

所以保罗说：

「我只有一件事。」

忘记背后，努力面前。

「忘记背后」不是否定过去，也不是忘记神曾经做过的事，而是不让过去成为今天的终点。过去的失败不能捆绑我，过去的成功也不能让我停下来。

因为前面还有神的呼召。

有时候我们会问：「主啊，为什么祢当初这样带领我？为什么让我经历这些事情？为什么祢把我带到今天这个位置？」

腓立比书3:12给了一个很美的角度：

也许有一天，当我们继续向前奔跑，就会越来越明白——基督当初为什么得着我。

祂曾经给我们的感动、经历、装备，甚至一些当时无法理解的道路，都可能在前面的旅程中逐渐连起来。

我们不需要现在就看见全部，只需要知道标竿在哪里。

不是一直回头寻找答案，而是继续向着基督奔跑。

当我们继续走，过去许多看似零散的点，也许会在神的时间里连接起来。

今日默想

今天我是否仍然停留在某一段过去？

是过去的成功、失败、遗憾，还是曾经很荣耀的属灵经历？

主今天再次提醒我：

不要停在那里。

忘记背后，努力面前。

因为基督既然得着了我，祂必有祂得着我的目的。

我只有一件事——向着标竿直跑。

祷告

主耶稣，谢谢祢先得着了我。

求祢使我不被过去的失败捆绑，也不因过去的成就而停留。让我忘记背后，努力面前，专心向着祢所设立的标竿直跑。

当我还不明白前面的道路时，赐我信心继续跟随；当我回头看见过去一个个脚印时，让我明白祢的手从来没有离开。

愿我这一生不断回应从上面来的呼召，直到得着祢呼召我所得的奖赏。

Pressing On Toward the Goal

Scripture | Philippians 3:12–14

Philippians 3:12

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Philippians 3:13

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

Philippians 3:14

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Devotional

Paul says something very striking:

“That for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”

Christ took hold of us not only to rescue us from our past, but also to lead us into the purpose and destiny He has prepared for us.

Paul had already experienced so much—he had encountered the risen Lord, preached the gospel, established churches, witnessed miracles, and endured persecution and suffering. Yet he still said:

“I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.”

One of the most dangerous moments in our spiritual journey is not necessarily when we fall. It may also be when we begin to think that we have already “arrived.”

That is why Paul says:

“But one thing I do.”

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

“Forgetting what is behind” does not mean denying the past, nor does it mean forgetting what God has done. It means refusing to allow the past to become the finishing point of our journey today.

Past failures cannot bind me, and past successes must not cause me to stop.

Because God’s calling is still ahead.

Sometimes we ask:

“Lord, why did You lead me this way in the beginning? Why did You allow me to go through these experiences? Why have You brought me to where I am today?”

Philippians 3:12 gives us a beautiful perspective:

Perhaps one day, as we continue running forward, we will understand more and more clearly why Christ took hold of us in the first place.

The impressions He gave us, the experiences He allowed us to have, the ways He equipped us, and even the paths we could not understand at the time may gradually begin to connect as we continue on the journey ahead.

We do not need to see the whole picture now.

We simply need to know where the goal is.

Instead of constantly looking backward for answers, we continue running toward Christ.

And as we keep moving forward, many seemingly scattered points from our past may, in God’s timing, begin to connect.

Today’s Reflection

Am I still lingering in a certain part of my past?

Is it a past success, a failure, a regret, or perhaps even a glorious spiritual experience I once had?

Today, the Lord reminds me again:

Do not remain there.

Forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead.

Because if Christ has taken hold of me, then surely He has a purpose for taking hold of me.

I have only one thing to do—

press on toward the goal.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for first taking hold of me.

Help me not to be bound by the failures of the past, nor to remain where I am because of past achievements. Teach me to forget what is behind, strain toward what is ahead, and keep my eyes fixed on the goal You have set before me.

When I do not yet understand the road ahead, give me faith to continue following You. And when I look back and see the footprints along the journey, help me recognize that Your hand has never left me.

May my whole life continually respond to Your heavenward calling, until I receive the prize for which You have called me.
